Sunday, March 4th

Toffuti Cream Cheese and TJ's Raspberry Preserves on Toast for breakfast...
Gardein Crispy Tenders with Heinz-57 for lunch.
Instead of lunch out today, we did dinner out at a Cajun Korean Restaurant. I enjoyed a Hurricane $10 Kraken Black Rum, Brugal Anejo Rum, Flor De Cana, Lemon, Passion Fruit...
We shared the Tempura Fried Pickles $6 to start....
I had the House Made Noodles $13 Shitakii and Royal Trumpet Mushrooms, Vegetables, Sesame, Sake, Lemon, Kochu, Soy
Mr. SV had Chap Che $16 Glass Noodles, Mushrooms, Vegetables, Soy and Sesame.
I don't usually show non-vegan items on the blog, but Mr. SV's Beignets for dessert looked like something worth sharing...maybe someone out there can veganize them.
This meal wasn't as filling as our usual meals, so I had a Hot Dog when I got home.
Coming up tomorrow: Banana and Peanut Butter for breakfast. Lunch still undetermined.

Your breakfast looks perfect. Sometimes there is nothing better than a good piece of bread with tofutti. Yum!

HURRICANE!! While I don't really drink any more, I used to partake a little more and when I did I definitely enjoyed a hurricane once in a while. Was yours as potent as the ones I've imbibed? You dinners look great but I was actually thinking that the portions looked kind of small, especially for the price. Was it good at least? Looks good!

Yum, peanut butter and banana. Looking forward to seeing what else tomorrow brings :)

I've learned to keep my Tofutti purchases to a minimum. I like it too much.

I've seen a Cajun Chinese restaurant sign somewhere around here. I wonder if it's a trend, or maybe I've missed the burgeoning fusion restaurants. Regardless, fried pickles! Noodles! Yum.

I would like to nominate Sarah for a Beignet vegan-ization.

I love your breakfast idea! Easy and tasty. Now you've got me thinking "vegan beignets"!

Dinner out looks great! What did you think of the fried pickles? Tempura ones I think I would have tried.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, the Hurricane was not as potent as it should have been and the portions were 'Tapas' size. I like my drinks strong and my portions huge, but who am I too complain?

Ingrid, Sarah did request veganization suggestions a while back. I do recall that.

Morgan, feel free to veganize the beignets! Go crazy!

Molly, the Tempura Pickles were just meh. I love Fried Pickles and I love Tempura, but this appetizer did not unite my two loves in wedded bliss.

FF, this was literally my first time eating dinner out in several years. Who knew that was gonna happen?! Cut me some slack, I get my food predictions right 99% of the time.
