Monday, March 19th

Grapefruit and Energy Bite for breakfast.
A Veggie Burrito Bowl from Chipotle for lunch.
Major impulse buy. There was a big display of these by the register. Fortunately, I was able to stopping eating them before making myself sick.
Homemade Vegetable Soup for dinner. Soup is what happens when it becomes apparent I'm not going to be making all those interesting recipes I see on the web.
Peanut Butter on Bread for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: Crumpets.

Oh yeah, another yummy looking Chipotle burrito bowl! I won't lie I'd probably make the same impulse purchase as you. I think chocolate covered almonds are the perfect sweet treat :) Your soups always look so hearty and delicious. What kinds of recipes did you pass up to make the soup? Just curious :)

PB on bread for dessert sounds great to me! I've been having major bread cravings lately.

Those almonds look like something I'd have a very hard time with not eating too many of. Sea salt, chocolate and almonds are such a great combo.

Major Chipotle jealousy- they need to open one here!

AH! Crumpetzzz!
Can't wait.

On the chocolate almonds - probably would have eaten those babies straight up (even if they did make me sick too). I'm a sucker for impulse buys.

Oh yeah those nuts sound awesome. I just try to avert my eyes around those kinds of displays.
I'm sort of the same with web recipes - I do try to make my way through a fair amount but there are just wayyy too many great looking things out there so I kind of just retreat back into my safe, simple collard wraps and salads. It's okay. Window shopping can be just as rewarding.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, obviously I was hoping to make the Carrot Cake Pancakes you made a few months ago, as well as some Stroganoff (hence the Mushrooms) and Chili (hence the Green Pepper). Stay away from the gluten! It's not worth it! WIsh I could.

Molly, you don't have Chipotle in Sheboygan?! I'm sure they'll be there soon. Too much money to be made.

Isotope, yep, major British treat today. The Crumpets had nice texture but oh so Cinnamonny.

FF, knowing you, you'll just make your own Chocolate Sea Salt Almonds.

I had a burrito bowl yesterday, too! Great minds think alike, I suppose. :) Glad you were able to have it instead of WF.

A similar scenario happened to me around Christmas, only with cinnamon candied almonds.

Even if those recipes don't happen, your soups are enviable!

Next time I go to Trader Joe's I am totally looking for those chocolate covered almonds. I will probably eat the entire container.
