Saturday, December 24th

En route to the mall for a last peek at the Christmas merchandise, Mr. SV & I stopped by WF's for breakfast. My stale Kombucha...
with Tofu Scramble and Potatoes O'Brien. No, I do not know what the O'Briens are up to lately.
Spicy Fried Shrimp (aka, Cha Cha) at Loving Hut $8.50 for lunch (I walked off a few calories between Bloomies & Barnes & Noble earlier).
A bottle of Korbel Champagne...
Field Roast Celebration Roast, Mashed Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts for dinner.
Pecan Pie by local vegan cooking instructor, Mimi Clark, via Loving Hut for dessert.
Merry Christmas to all!

Great looking stuff. methinks the O'Briens were staying away from the mall today. How busy was it??
Korbel AND Kombucha, what a bubbly day!

Merry Christmas! Great looking meals, I can't believe you braved the mall! I'm impressed! Loving Hut totally provided lots of yummy food today, it all looks great! I remember having fake shrimp for the first time and how real the taste and texture were (from what I could remember).

Have a glass of champagne for me! :)

Love the pup shot! You're brave to have gone to the mall, although we braved Whole Foods today and I found a slice of pumpkin pie. It was really good!

Happy holidays to you and Mr. SV!

I would only eat those fake shrimp in breaded format--they have some unbreaded ones at our health food store and they just look.....wrong.
Happy holidays!

Hello! I've been sequestered in Texas, begging computer time from relatives, so I just got caught up on your posts - I am so excited that you tried the tofu and green beans the other day! Did you like it?

Please give my regards to the O'Briens.

Totally jealous of the pecan pie.

Merry Christmas, and cheers!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, if you're ever in the DC area, Tysons Corner Mall is pretty nice shopping. It wasn't too crowded yesterday. Worst part was all the douche bags in Urban Outfitters. I predict they'll be out of business in 2012.

VaVa, my only explanation for braving the mall is that I wanted to see what beautiful Christmas items were on display. Not much. I had a bottle of champagne for you.

Molly, Pie by the slice at WF's? That's a new one on me. Glad you enjoyed it. Happy Holidays to you & Mike!

Stacy, these were exceptionally good fried shrimp. Very crunchy. I agree, faux shrimp are not for the faint of heart.

Ingrid, loved the Tofu & Green Bean dish. Really hit the spot. Looking forward to the leftovers. (Don't be jealous of the Pecan Pie. Mediocre). Hope the Texas relatives let you use some more dial-up before you leave. Merry Christmas!
