Friday, December 2nd

An 'App'le for Breakfast to enter into my 'App'. (Today's food was all about being found on the 'Lose It' App.)
'Japanese Pan Noodles - Caramelized Udon Noodles in a Sweet Soy Sauce, Broccoli, Carrots, Shiitake Mushrooms, Asian Sprouts, Black Sesame and Cilantro from Noodles & Company. 800 Calories for $7.99. I enjoyed these more than the Indonesian Peanut Saute, although it really wasn't the best. Just wanted some portion control.
Two Gardein Burgers and Purple Oven Fried Potatoes for dinner.(700 Calories)
The remainder of my daily alloted calories were delegated to Vodka. Can't wait to drop all this excess poundage so I can go back to eating lots of dessert. Speaking of which, here's a Groupon to get half off lots of vegan Chocolates. I think I'm gonna go for the PB Balls...

Whoa, those noodles look like serious business! They sound really delicious, glad they were better than your last dish there! Ahhh subbing booze for dessert, it must be Friday ;) Gotta love this app!

Ha! Love that you looked up an apple on the app. lol

We have three more months until we can change our phones. That's starting to seem way too long.

I love the Japanese Pan Noodles, but then again, we don't have a lot of choices around here for eating out.

It's been a long time since I've been to a Noodles & Co.--still looks great. But man! 800 calories! I never would have thought. I must be completely out of touch w/ how many calories I actually consume. How much poundage are you trying to drop, if you don't mind me asking?

Noodles & Co is not a low calorie meal, I think the veganized Penne Rosa is around the same as the Pan Noodles.

I've seen these purple potatoes pop up on your blog before - do you prefer them to the baby reds or russets?

Friday is meant for an adult beverage dessert!

That is one smashing-looking apple! Lunch sounds awesome too...caramelized noodles, yum! All in all, I think vodka is a good way to allocate caloric intake.

VaVa, save your eating-at-a-chain meals for Chipotle and don't waste them at Noodles & Company. They don't impress me much.

Molly, I believe if I put it all in the App, it will take off the poundage. I must believe or it won't work. Sorry you are so limited in your choices up there. Wouldn't it be great if Noodles & Co had vegan Mac & Cheese?

Stacy, I know! If that Regular Bowl was 800 Calories, imagine what my 1.5 pound 'Salads' are from WF's. I'm f*cked! Just trying to shed ten pounds so I can gain it back again.

Ingrid, oh! Now you tell me it's not low calorie, Miss Penne Rosa! I'm not touting the purple Taters. Just happened to buy a couple LBs at the Asian market. They taste like regular Taters.

Rose, yeah, what's the deal w/Caramelized Noodles on the menu? Why make it so complicated? Why can't they just serve some simple Steamed Veggies?

It's so strange without dessert being posted on your blog. I would've had to wait until after New Years to start my diet.
