Saturday, December 17th

Mr SV & I were up and out early today, so we went by Whole Foods for the hot breakfast bar. Tofu Scramble and Potatoes O'Brien (about a pound of food for $6.99/lb).
Lunch was at Mimosa Asian Fusion Restaurant. My Spring Roll $1.50...
and Kung Pao Tofu $5...I wanted to keep the Tofu Theme going so it was Tofu No-Egg Salad on Toast for dinner.
TJ's Cherry Cordials for dessert (had I known it was going to be a Tofu Theme Day, I would've made a Tofu Pie).
It's dark inside that Chocolate shell.

You're listing prices now? What's up with that?
Looks like you made some tasty choices today, cost notwithstanding.

Love the tofu theme. Is that sort of like "If I knew were coming, I'd baked a tofu pie." ?

All looks super!!

How do the O'Briens make their potatoes anyway?
Does the darkness inside the hard shell represent your soul, Shen?

I wish I could eat soy with reckless abandon. It all looks so good! I have to watch my intake of it because of my thyroid issues. Bah!

Sweetie (Mr. Miss Rachel ???) is a big fan of tofu scramble and often makes up a batch on weekends. However, like Molly, I try to limit my soy intake.

That spring rolls looks so good - I need to get me one of those.

I've noticed that the few times I've visited the WF hot bar for breakfast, it's only the "oatmeal bar".

The spring roll looks especially fantastic. No rice again?

Tofu pie, eh?

Hey Now!!!!

Stacy, I've been listing prices for years. You obviously ain't paying proper attention. Somebody help Stacy.

Rose, if I think anyone is coming, I turn off the lights and pretend not to be home.

FF, methinks you know the O'Briens better than I do. Meanwhile, I'm planning to have a flashlight on hand the next time I indulge in a Cherry Cordial. Once I see what's lurking inside that Chocolate shell, I'll be able to do a proper comparison to my 'soul'.

Molly, you aren't missing much in Soy these days. Tofu is eating Tempeh and Seitan's dust.

Miss Rachel, contrary to recent meals, I also try to limit my Soy intake.

Ingrid, an 'Oatmeal Bar' sounds better than a kick in the head. Nope, no Rice. Yep, Tofu Pie:

YUM!! Breakfast and lunch look amazing! That spring roll looks really delicious. My WHole Foods doesn't have all that many vegan breakfast bar options but I was impressed by the oatmeal/toppings that they have :) So I'm with Ingrid on that one!
