Salad from Wegman's with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus for lunch.
Field Roast Classic Meatloaf with A1 Sauce and Roasted Brussel Sprouts for dinner. It's been almost a year since Susan alerted the internet to Trader Joe's Cherry Cordials being vegan. The candies are seasonal, like a lot of Trader Joe's best items, so I had to wait till now to find them. A childhood favorite, it is great to be able to eat Cherry Cordials again. Thanks, Susan, I never would've thought to check the ingredients on these.
Sort of kept it together today foodwise.

Your salad looks great - love hummus instead of dressing.

I get so excited when I find that certain products / dishes happen to be vegan! Enjoy the cordials :)

When you say "salad from Wegmans" does that mean the dish is already prepared? With the veg and everything on it? It always looks great but I assumed you just meant you bought the veg at the grocery store, haha. I'm confused now!
The cordials look great. I'm on the lookout for chocolate with booze inside :)

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, thanks! The world needs more Cordialness. Or Cordiality. Which is it that the world needs more of? You should know: Cordialness or Cordiality?

FF, agreed. I made lunch way more complicated than it needed to be. To simplify: I composed the Salad at the Wegman's $8.49/lb Salad Bar, drove it 20 miles home, dumped it on a plate (lost a bit of it at this point), cleverly topped it with WF's Hummus (as opposed to Goddess Dressing which was my original plan), added Olives, tried to take an appetizing pic. Hope that helps explain things. Let me know what Boozy Chocolates you find or make.

It's so easy to give 100% responding to comments when I get a total of: TWO.

Sorry I missed this one! The salad looks nice and fresh, we had Wegmans by my school when I was in college and I still miss that store. They always had such nice stuff. I wasn't even vegan back then, I bet I'd be even more stoked about it now. I also agree that trader joes has amazing seasonal stuff. I'm using most of my candy cane joe joe's for baking but I'll be heading back soon to get another stock for hoarding ;)
