Oooh that soup looks great! I'm so cold right now so the soup is clearly what would stand out :) The tofu and veggies looks good too! I need to get my hands on a waffle iron. I should have gone to Walmart on black friday... ;)

I own a waffle iron, but that's a lot of work. I'll just buy a plane ticket and go.

I'm going to try my hand at marinating and roasting tofu this week - your tofu has solidified my desire.

The soup does look great; I've been all about those now that the weather has really turned. It almost looks like there's a grain in there?

Ooo, that Moroccan lentil soup always looks enormously slurpable! Can't go wrong with tofu and chili burgers either. I've been eating tofu up the ying yang lately...not sure why. I want to buy purple potatoes, but they're pricey around here.

Did my comment yesterday count as a brekkie compliment? Hope so...I always feel a little guilty for not commenting so much on breakfasts and desserts...I usually eat dinner leftovers for breakfast and then go on to lunch and dinner...so it's like I eat dinner, lunch, dinner. :D

So, you're an unambitious software engineer...I've known a few of those, and quite frankly that's the kind I prefer...much for fun to drink with at company parties... :D

I so need a bowl of that soup today! It looks so good.

Oh, wow...that waffle recipe sounds great. I'm printing that recipe, because it is a must make! Thanks for sharing it with us. :o)

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, hope you don't buy an inexpensive Waffle Iron. They're one of those pieces of equipment that you're not supposed to skimp on.

Ingrid, Founding Farmers would certainly have something to offer both you and your relatives. No one would have to compromise.

FF, there may well indeed be some grains in the Lentil Soup. Lately, I've been going through an oblivious period, so I can't say for sure.

Rose, sure wish you would post your eats more often. They're always an inspiration. I bought the Purple Potatoes at the Asian market cuz they were inexpensive. Yes, I'm definitely in the wrong career for my personality. Waiting till my death bed to discover what I was meant to be doing all this time.

Molly, let us know how the recipe turns out. Not only don't I own a Waffle Iron, there were more ingredients in the recipe than I care to get involved with.

Michelle2, it was great soup -- tons of Lentils yet Tomatoe Soupy at the same time. WF's really hit it out of the park with that batch.
