Another Excellent Food Day

Breakfast was a slice of Isa's Banana Bread warmed up with a little Earth Balance...
Lunch was that last of the Skinny Bitch Beef Stew. Now I'll have to make a new pot.
We toasted Valentine's Day with a bottle of Moet.
Dinner was Celebration Field Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Road's End Organic Herb Gravy.
Dessert was a Mahalo Bar -- like an Almond Joy only more delicious!
A great food day! More tomorrow.

Where do you buy those candy bars? I used to love Almond Joys and if this is more delicious I would love to get my hands on one. I assume this is something you picked up at TJ's or Whole Foods?

BTW, cute pup pic!

The SB beef stew gets me every time and the candy sounds great; almond, coconut, and chocolate is one of my favs too.

Alicia, I found the candy bar in the 'health food' section of my local Food Lion Grocery Store for $1.75! I only bought one, but I'm going back for more before they stop stocking them!

Rose, thank you! I hope you can find the Mahalo bars near you!

DD, I post pics of my babies occasionally. I just worry that they're so cute, someone may come try to steal them;-)

M, the Moet was really excellent. When are you going to update your blog and answer all your questions!?

SV,

Thanks for the info. I don't think we have a Food Lion near hear. But if I pass one I will stop in now.

I always scope out the 'health food' aisles and kosher aisles. Even though most of the time you won't find anything, sometimes there's a flukey thing (like this candy bar) or an item deeply discounted because it's being discontinued.

You have mentioned that before. I NEED to remember it when I am at the store. I am always in such a hurry to cross things off the list and get out I don't take time to browse. It certainly seems to work when you do it.

I have a Mahalo bar in my pantry just waiting for the right moment. I'm kind of a junk food hoarder, and I'm scared to eat it because then I won't have it anymore. Is that crazy? Don't worry...it WILL get eaten eventually. I need to start buying Field Roast throughout the year and not just at Thanksgiving...love that stuff!
