WTF Wednesday

Nature's Path Blueberry Cinnamon Flax Cereal for breakfast. Couldn't stop thinking 'Twig & Berries! Twig & Berries!' whilst consuming this. Sometimes I cant form an opinion about a cereal based on the first bowl...
Some random vegan stuff off the Wegman's Vegetarian Bar for lunch: Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, Tofu, Carrots & Apples with Dried Cranberries and Cabbage...
All mixed together into a Food Feud Bowl. A very unusual way to eat food. I think there's something to this bowl food thing, but I'm not sure what....
A Light Life Bologna Sandwich with Wegman's Spicy Olive Mix for dinner...
Wholly Wholesome Dairy Free Pumpkin Pie for dessert....
No repeats tomorrow either.

Perhaps the magic of the Food Feud bowl is simply that it is Maudilicious.

That lunch looks delicious! So many different foods that would taste so good together.

Interesting cereal!

Haha, what?? They were all in perfect separate little compartments first but you overthrew the laws of physics to put them in a bowl??
The thing about bowl is the dressing! Ya know, like the Big Lebowski. It really ties the bowl together.
The Brussels look really good.

Haha overtime. I wish!

I'm not going to lie, my heart went pitter patter when I saw the container with the separate compartments! You know I love my food to be all separated. Everything sounds really delicious too. And oh that pumpkin pie gets me every time.

Technology was making my life difficult yesterday....
I was trying to say that mark bittman's book "how to cook everything vegetarian" is great (with notes to make recipes vegan) and also an iphone app. He wrote the "minimalist" column at nytimes for yrs, a number of those recipes are also veg. and all are super simple.
That cereal looks amazing to me! So many textures all in one bowl! I love the *idea* of the FF bowl, but just for salad salads with greens. I know, weird. But with your lunch i would have probably left seperated.... What a great selection from wegman's though! I'm impressed they had so many cooked veg choices-so many places ruin the veggies with bacon or some crap lately.

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, Maudilicious?! Even without the dressing?

VGG, it was unique to get a different flavor with each forkful returning to the same place.

FF, I'm not ready to dowse it all in dressing. Baby steps!

Sarah, my lunch was originally a VaVa Meal that morphed into a FF Bowl. That's criminal all the hours you work for nothing in return except a juicer at xmas. Sure wish you would move to the beach all ready to get some fresh air and sunshine.

Unknown, your idea of 'super simple' varies from mine. This Sweet Potato Stew was a little above my speed, even though it didn't turn out to be too difficult in the end. Gotta keep buying all the Wegman's vegan stuff so they keep making it.
