Banana and Nuttzo for breakfast...
'Fettuccine Rustica' $10.45 at Brio for lunch. Fresh Fettuccine with spicy Marinara, Capers, Kalamata Olives. It didn't register with me till after lunch that there were most likely eggs in the pasta since it was 'fresh'. Really pissed at my own stupidity.
An utterly divine bowl of 'Celeriac Soup ' $4 from The Randy Radish for dinner. Basil Oil Drizzle furnished by the RR and applied by moi. It is so great to eat prepared food that is not only delicious but guaranteed vegan.
I thought about eating more tonight, but decided instead to just go out on a high note with the Soup.

Too bad about the noodles. It happens to the best of us.
Trying to decipher the meaning of the basil oil glyph... maybe it foretells some tofu scramble tomorrow.

And there are never eggs in bananas, either. Woot.

Ya know, $hit happens man..... Your unintentional consumption will no doubt be overshadowed by years (decades!) of good kharma. Maybe an email to Brio encourages them to label the menu with dishes that are vegan vs vegetarian...? I love the few places that do this since the waitstaff is usually clueless
Celeriac soup sounds really divine- and the herby oil is such a gorgeous color too!

I've been all about the blended soups lately, especially when drizzled with oil. Yum.

I'm glad to see you've been eating well while I've been away!

Mike and I have had brain farts like that, where we order something and realize it probably wasn't vegan afterwards. Like Unknown says, shit happens.

The soup looks really good. Love the drizzle on it, too.

That soup sounds fab, and I love how the swirl looks like a smiling guy with a comb-over.

That soup looks so delicious and I love the beautiful green swirl. I would definitely sit there and look for shapes in the drizzle ;)

Hey Now!!!!

FF, you should totally ditch that dumb book store job and start reading tea leaves for a living. You are good!

Hannah, I just feel like I have now only been vegan for one day based on yesterday's lunch. Before that doesn't count anymore.

Unknown, it wasn't until over an hour after lunch that I realized that fresh pasta is made with eggs and made sense why this pasta was stretchy/rubbery. I should be sharper than that. I should email Brio since my mother loves eating there so much, I will have to return.

Nikki, it's officially Blended Soup Season. Time to get out our immersion blenders!

RVs, I know you're just saying that to make me feel better. Thanks for that.

VGG, as a junior blogger, beware the 'fresh' pasta. Learn from us senior vegan bloggers.

Blessed Mama, we each see what we want to see, don't we?

Sarah, I plan to create future soup drizzles which will contain hidden messages. So starting to practice reading them now couldn't hurt.
