WTF Wednesday

Kashi Island Vanilla for breakfast...
Four Stuffed Grape Leaves for lunch...
as well as two Tostadas. I'd given up on vegan cheese, but the Pepperjack Daiya boasted big promises. These were muy delicioso!
Chickn Scallopini, Roasted Cauliflower and a Baked Potato for dinner.
Yeah, I ate a lot today. Just felt like over-indulging.

I felt mysteriously compelled to buy a bunch of stuffed grape leaves from our fave middle eastern joint the other day....now I know why!
PS I like the inclusion of breakfast

That Kashi cereal is pretty good! G used to get it sometimes and I would swipe some behind his back. Maybe that's why he doesn't get it anymore.

Coconut and chocolate - an excellent combination. Here's a dessert trolley question: do you wait until there is a significant dent before replenishing the stockpile? Or is it an on-going "eat one, buy one" situation? Lately, I've been heating and drinking the WestSoy Chocolate Peppermint Stick beverage(as recommended by FF!).

Whoa, this is a really great food day! I like that you included breakfast too :) I like the vanilla cereal (well did when I ate wheat) but I feel like some squares were super vanilla-ey while others had no taste. Very strange. I had some stuffed grape leaves today too and the toastadas, yum! Every single meal and treat looks awesome, I'm very jealous.

I love that Kashi cereal. Haven't had it forever, though. What's all on the tostadas? They look good!

Field Roast- I think WF's has it, too, so we might just have to go there every once in a while for stuff like that.

I would have totally indulged if I had been eating all that yumminess!
I'll have to try the Kashi Island Vanilla...sounds good. My luck, Kroger or Wal-Mart won't have it...lol

Hey Now!!!!

Stacy, I'll bet the stuffed Grapes Leaves from an actual Middle Eastern Joint would be really excellent.

FF, G should keep you in Kashi cereal to your heart's content! Especially after you made him Bagels!

Ingrid, cool question. I buy new/exciting vegan foodstuffs whenever I get the opportunity, regardless of my current stock. So it may be a massive stockpile where I don't know half of what I have, but I've finally accepted that about myself.

VaVa, amazing you could taste each Kashi square individually. Mine all got soggy in the Soy Milk. Tasted like Frosted Mini Wheats. Which is a good thing.

Molly, the Tostadas were untraditional: Refried Beans and Daiya baked too long in the oven, then topped with Tomatillo Salsa and Sour Supreme. So freakin' good! WF's really charges and arm & a leg for the Field Roast. Sorry your Co Op dropped it.

Michelle2, I got the Kashi at Big Lots. I've seen it at Walmst, but you'll do better with the Cinnamon flavor I think.

Ha! I'd eat a little bit dry as a snack. One square at a time. Trust me, you can taste the difference ;) I used to love dry cereal as a snack.
