Sunday, November 13th

Golden Vermicelli with Lemongrass Protein $7.50 Vermicelli, Golden Roll, Soy Protein, marinated in Lemongrass, Lettuce, Cucumber, Pickle, Roasted Peanuts and Homemade Sauce at Loving Hut for lunch.
Since lunch was so filling, (although I didn't notice any Pickle or Roasted Peanuts) I combined dinner & dessert into one: PB & Banana Sandwich.
The lunch picture was too dark and the dinner picture was too light. Tomorrows pictures will be juuuuust right.

Who's been eating my porridge?? Obviously not you. Maybe the "pickle" from lunch was an indistinguishable "pickled" something.

Both meals look amazing. I was thinking the same as Maud, maybe something in there was pickled? Although I guess you'd probably be able to taste it? The first pic isn't dark, it is "moody." ;)

No wonder you'd be full after all that lemongrass and vermicelli. Lemongrass protein...I'm intrigued. I wish I wasn't too lazy to get to the Loving Hut in our area...I checked their menu though, and they don't seem to have the cool stuff I see other people having at their Loving Huts.

I haven't had pb & banana in a while! Such a great combo.

Your lunch looks awesome and very filling. No wonder you weren't that hungry for dinner!

Yeah, about WF's, I guess I'm not surprised. It is Wisconsin, after all.

This looks similar (except for no broth) to the tofu vegan pho I ate yesterday. Was this a double PB and banana day? I recall a staple breakfast pattern involving the aforementioned combo.

7th graders, indeed, and an English one at that! Ha! I think the bigger lesson here is to not Pinot Noir and type on Saturday nights.

Seems like bad PR for the cult for them to be omitting ingredients from your lunch. At any rate, those spring rolls look pretty tasty.

I've yet to make it to a Loving Hut.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, if something in my meal is gonna be pickled, I'd like it to be me or for me to be able to discern what it is.

VaVa, hmmmm....so you too think there was something pickled in my lunch and I just didn't notice? Okay, I'll go with it just to be congenial.

Rose, Rose, Rose... you don't even feel the need to go to your local Loving Hut to find some hope for humanity? I really hope to move to the Pacific Northwest one day.

Molly, I'd always assumed that Wisconsin was a forward-thinking state. You have set me straight on that notion.

Ingrid, may I suggest a couple shots of Vodka before grading papers? Lubricates the old grey matter.

Stacy, uh oh, do you think The Cult thought I badmouthed them? I really didn't mean to! Probably just me being too dopey to notice any nuts or pickles in my lunch. (Being a member of a cult seems pretty pleasant these days).

Jenny, time to put LH on the itinerary for your next road trip. In a perfect world, Loving Huts will supercede all McDs.

The Loving Hut looks really good!

I just ate PB&B the other day for lunch, except I mash my nanner up in my PB. I like it all mushed together...ha Yours looks much more appetizing though. We won't say what mine looks like!
