WTF Tuesday

Picnic food theme. Tofu No-Egg Salad on Toast for Breakfast.
Field Roast Frankfurter and Potato Salad from Everlasting Life Cafe for lunch.
Gardein Crispy Tenders with carryout Mac & Cheese from Everlasting Life Cafe.
Half an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie for dessert from... Everlasting Life Cafe! Wow. They incorporated just the right about of sugar and still kept it nice and chewy. I don't know how they do it, and I'm starting to think I don't want to know.
A couple commenters questioned my 'Energy Bite' for Breakfast yesterday. Below is the ingredient list. These types of little Carob Chunks can commonly be found at health food stores. FF got me into them. Gotta give credit where its due.
A few other commenters questioned my Zucchini Pancakes. This recipe was the basis, subbing flax seeds for the eggs and oil for the butter. So, yea, a White & Brown food day can be good!

I got a chance to try Everlasting Life after a groupon in the spring. I had a fried chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese -- both great! Definitely on the more decadent side of things I like to enjoy, but will have to get a green juice as you did to balance it out. Can't wait to see what else you tried!

"Questioned"? You make it sound as though we sent your bites and pancakes to Gitmo :) !!!

Anyhow, all looks good. I love tan days, too!

Picnics are enjoyable. I'm sure had you had your picnic-food in a picnic-like setting, the furries would have been pleased.

Crossing my fingers for a speedy procedure and recovery, for the kitties!

Which was better - mac or potato salad?

That's a great idea for breakfast! I missed your post yesterday somehow.... but that Field Roast sounds really good. I didn't know they had something like that.

Yeah, those bites are pretty tasty. I was actually going to pick up some more today.
As for your dawg, do you always go bunless? I'm now realizing your burgers don't have buns either. Is that because you don't like to buy them, or do you not like to eat them?

Oooh I like the picnic theme. Your meals all look great but I'm particularly envious of your dinner. looks like a great comforting meal. Thanks for the recipe for the zucchini pancakes! And I've had energy bites like that from WHole foods but in a different flavor. Haven't seen them there recently though :( Hopefully my comment won't disappear again!

Now that's my kind of breakfast, even though I've never actually at that for breakfast. :)

The Everlasting Life Cafe grub looks great. I want to eat there!

Hey Now!!!!

Isotope, I expect you to expound and improve upon the Zucchini Pancake recipe.

Jared, I remember seeing that Groupon and choosing to abstain due to the location. Still, it planted the seed to visit one day.

Stacy, by 'questioned' I meant 'Demanded details'. Oh! The pressure!

Ingrid, the kitties survived their surgeries and are back home in the bathroom. The Mac & Cheese was sublime. Still have one serving left.

Molly, I usually only see this Field Roast at the Holidays. Ain't cheap, but worth the splurge.

FF, hard to believe, but I 'cut back' where I can. Bunless Dawgs & Burgers are one of those areas.

VaVa, I am sorry your comments are disappearing. I swear I'm not deleting them.

Rose, vegan food is totally mind-blowing.

Michelle2, it was a first time breakfast for me as well. Not sure what made me think of it.
