WTF Tuesday

My company is allowing us to work from home two days a week till the end of the year. Proviso: If we employees of many years standing (me) don't meet our due dates, they're gonna pull the second WFH day. I would think after many years, everyone has proven they can meet their dates and that working from home would not be the problem if due dates weren't met, but...we're in a recession I'm lucky to have a job got many adorable mouths to feed suck up the toxicity anyone out there hiring? Morningstar Vegan Grillers with TJ's Veggie Chili and Tater Tots for lunch.
Celebration Roast and Roasted Acorn Squash for dinner.
Double Chocolate Fudge Cake and Rice Dream Butter Pecan (in camouflage) for dessert.
Coming up: more prepackaged processed foods (unless I fail to meet my due dates, in which case this blog will get a little more interesting).

That sounds.....f**king stressful. I definitely respond more to the carrot than the stick.

At least you got tots??

Another day working from home?! I love it, and bet the canines and felines feel the same.

Butter Pecan may very well be my favorite flavor.

Good to know that the Sunflower experience will still be available next visit!

I want to work from home! Especially if it means tots for lunch! The squash looks delicious and I want your dessert in my belly, as usual.

Oh WFH twice a week? Awesome...you're home food isn't boring.

Ignore that corporate bollux...they're always going on like that...blah, blah, blah.

All the food looks really good...my stomach is rumbling. The squash is so vibrant, nothing like squash with fall flavors.

I would love to work from home except that's not possible with my job. Do you enjoy it? Hope it goes well for the company (well, for the employees mostly)

Lucky sod. I wish I could work from home.
Well, I probably wouldn't get anything done though. I'm easily distracted.

But yeah, staying home means yummy grub! I haven't had tots since I was a kid. That chocolate cake looks incredible too. Almost makes me wish I could go to your house to eat some with you. I'm not sure whether you would share though..

That's awesome that they let you work from home. All the company I work for has done lately is reduce the amount of vacation & sick time they give everyone... I'm down 14 days a year from where I would have been by now. We should look for work together! What do you do for a living, if you don't mind sharing?

I haven't had tater tots in a while and that squash looks perfect. Great food day!

That's really cool that you get to work from home. My husband could technically work at home, and he does from time to time - but they like to keep an eye on everyone. Even on he who is a boss. So he eats a protein bar and a piece of fruit every day for lunch. Every day. He doesn't go out for great lunches like you do, which is weird to me. I guess if I was a good wife, I'd get out of bed to pack him a lunch, like I do for the kids.

How nice to be able to work from home 2 days a week now. Why are they just doing it until the end of the year? A test run of sorts? Don't be too harsh on them; they weren't pointing their fingers at you personally, just a general statement - they told me so.

OK...once again I am jealous...I want to work from home too! :o) I do hope things go well for you guys! We never know what we are going to walk into where I work. They just made us take 6 days off with out pay to save like 150 jobs. They lay off once a month....ugh

On a positive note....your roasted squash looks so good!

Hey Now!!!!

Stacy, are you gonna eat your tots?

Ingrid, what I go through to stay home with my fuzzies (just so I can keep telling them to "leave me alone, I'm busy").

VaVa, I can see where working from home wouldn't be applicable to your job. I'll admit that one.

Rose, I need to deploy the evacuation slide. Two days ago!

FF, do I enjoy it? Yes, I do enjoy it (whatever 'it' is. Weird question. One too many Gintinis?).

Isotope, considering I don't share the Chocolate Cake with Mr SV, I'd say your chances of getting any are slim. However, if you let me know in advance that you're coming, I'll buy you your own slice.

Molly, I know I'm lucky to have a job. I admit that. Even if it's horrific. I'm a Computer Programmer. Not the best fit for my personality.

Jenny, apparently not packing Ryan a lunch hasn't dimmed his ardour one bit. Save your energy for tending to his future offspring.

Blessed Mama, they lied to you. They actually were telling me personally. The extra WFH day till the end of the year is due to increased work load.

Michelle2, oh yeah? Well says you.

Carissa, it would be awesome to WFH two days a week without the threat of having it pulled due to something that would have nothing to do with WFH! Anyway, are you saying you don't like the looks of my Squash?
