Wednesday, November 23rd

Oatmeal at Mom's for breakfast. $1.95. They gave me some Raisins this time.

Tostadas for lunch.
Field Roast Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute and Zucchini Pancakes for dinner.
I've begun entering my daily meals in the 'Lose It' App on my Droid, so no dessert tonight.

Man, I feel the pounds piling on me without an app for my phone!
Love the oatmeal, that's actually really freakin cute. It looks like a snowman, almost.

Great meals today!! That oatmeal made me smile :) I'm really wanting tostadas now, I'm so jealous of you. The field roast en croute looks interesting (probably because there is bread involved and my sad gf self loves some bread) and I LOVE zucchini pancakes! That app really opens your eyes doesn't it!?

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Did you tell them to add some raisins because all the commenters on your blog were complaining about the oatmeal being too spartan?
I am *definitely* making tostadas w/i the next few days. Your blog is a form of mind control. Use the power for good, not evil :)
Is it hard to enter meals for vegan foods on that app? I've found other calorie counters don't tend to have the kinds of things I eat in their dbases.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, glad you liked the Oatmeal. Would a Carrot nose work? Seems a little gross.

VaVa, thanks for reminding me to download the app. It was something I've been wanting to do for a long time, but never got around to. Happy T'giving to you!

Stacy, I work hard to keep the blog on the DL. Don't wanna go around advertising myself lest it gets too popular. You're right about that aspect of the 'Lose It' app. Field Roast, Imagine Gravy, Daiya etc are not recognized when I do the Bar Code scan, so I have to manually enter the servings & calories. I'm still optomistic that once my most eaten foods are entered, it will be easy to use.

I'm going to ask Ryan to put that app on my phone. (Technology makes my brain hurt. I'm much better at strategically placing raisins on oatmeal. Which, by the way, I thought I was on the wrong blog for a second. Did you do that, or did they?)
