Thursday, November 3rd

Thanks to Ingrid & Molly for the Noodles and Company ordering advice. I went with the 'Indonesian Peanut Saute' $ 7. 89 - Spicy Peanut Sauce and Rice Noodle Stir-Fry, Broccoli, Carrots, Cabbage, Asian Sprouts, Cilantro, Crushed Peanuts and Lime with Tofu. It was pretty decent. Didnt feel mentally or physically worse off after eating it, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it again either.
The restaurant was giving out free lip balms. Like Muscadine Jelly, this was a new one on me, but my lips were happy for the little gift.
Morningstar Vegan Grillers with TJ's Veggie Chili and a Baked Potato with Sour Supreme for dinner. Now THIS is what I call a delicious meal.
A Half Baked Truffle for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: Using a Restaurant.Com Coupon for lunch.

The noodles looked good, too bad it wasn't anything special :( At least you got free lip balm out of the deal! Have you ever tried Hurraw lip balm? They are the only ones I use now, they are SO GOOD. I have one in pretty much every bag I own. Your dinner looks yummy and yay for the truffles! I'm going to be making 2 more kinds of truffles around the holidays :)

I love Noodles and Co! Give it another chance! Try the Japanese pan noodle with tofu

It doesn't look like they put much sauce on the Noodles dish. I agree with Susan- you should try the pan noodles, too. Funny that they were giving out lip balm, but cool too!

I want one of those truffles!!

Free lipchap is pretty awesome, even if the grub was less than exciting.

As you stated, between the smoothie and the noodles - I need to up my game. I will now begin a new section on eats, dubbed "Shen-Worthy". :)

The noodles look good... Sorry they weren't anything to brag about.
How come no one has ever heard of Muscadine jelly? It must just be a southern thing. I think you would really like it.
OMG.... I can not believe you still have truffles. Please tell me that was your last one. :0)

We don't have any of these noodle places around here...the noodles sounded really promising in the description. Chili with baked potato=yum!

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, never heard of 'Hurraw' lip balm. I bought a lifetime supply of 'Kiss My Face' lip balm at Big Lots a few years ago, so I'm 'covered' so to speak. Hope there is another Truffle giveaway coming.

Susan, you love Noodles & Co too? If I give it another try, I'll go for the Japanese Pan Noodles.

Molly, there was quite a bit of Peanut Sauce at the bottom of the bowl. It wasn't bad, but I'm fortunate to have WFs as a lunch option and I think I'm better off with their Noodle dishes.

Stacy, it was organic 'lip chap'. Doubly awesome. I thought of taking more than one from the bowl, but instead decided to pretend I wasn't greedy.

Ingrid, insert 'sponge-worthy' joke here. Ain't fallin' for it.

Michelle2, now don't you feel bad you ate all your Half-Baked Truffles?? I wisely parsed mine out to enjoy for months to come.

Rose, I'm starting to suspect you don't really live in Seattle...Could you be a pubescent boy in the midwest pretending to be a vegan aesthete for sh*ts and giggles? If so, that's cool too.

Haha!! How'd you guess?

But seriously, either Seattle is over-rated or I'm an elderly shut-in...probably the latter.
