Monday, November 7th

A Veggie Tuna Pocket $2.99 and a Bragg's Cider Drink (better than the last one, I knew to shake it up before drinking this time) and a cup of Morrocan Lentil Soup for lunch.
Dinner from Sunflower-'Curry Supreme' (Chunks of Soy Protein served with Broccoli, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Carrots and Green Peas in a special Japanese Curry Sauce). This was not up to its usual snuff. Mr. SV noticed no difference, but this was definitely not as good as usual. Sumpin' wasn't right.
Plum Pie for dessert. Just two servings left.
If I still titled my posts, I'd label this one a mediocre food day (except for dessert).

That soup looks so good! Bummer that your dinner wasn't up to the usual standards. That always bums me out when i'm looking forward to something I know will be good and then it just isn't. At least the pie was good! Pie makes everything better :)

I think you should rebel, throw us a title every now and then! :) I only recently found out that Sunflower existed in Boulder, and upon further investigation found out it is closed.

P.S. LOVED the kitty update yesterday, it filled my evening with cuteness.

Hmmm....I enjoy many a Bragg's product, but a vinegar drink does not get my taste buds clamoring.

That soup does look delish!
I hate when I go to one of my usual places to eat and they happen to not be on top of their game that day. Maybe Sunflower will be super delish the next time you go! :o)

You're braver than me if you can drink ACV drinks haha. I just cannot bring myself to do it. Same goes for kombucha. I just don't like it :/

I've had the Bragg's vinegar drinks a few times...certainly more palatable than the vinegar straight up with water. I like the apple cinnamon flavor.

I was curious to see the inside of the vegan tuna pocket...maybe next time.

Oh, and I know I'm probably late in mentioning this, but nice autumn view of the river...I love how you change the pic with the seasons.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, in this situation, Pie did indeed make everything better. I'll have to do more research before I agree that Pie makes everything better every time.

Ingrid, the Sunflower in Boulder wouldn't have been related to the Sunflower in Virginia. Our Sunflowers are a chain of two. If you ever return, it is imperative that you dine at the Bailey's Crossroads location. It's just what Va vegans do. (I coulda done better with the kitty update, but them bathroom cats are scary).

Stacy, ha! The vinegar drink is for health not taste. Silly Canadian Blog Deleter!

Kimberly, your mock tuna will definitely be better than my store bought sandwich. My sandwich was mediocre in keeping with the theme of my day.

Michelle2, you're all about second chances, eh? I can't say I operate so generously.

Lacey, get with the program: Buck up and drink your fermented drinks. Play time is over.

Rose, the Tuna Pocket wasn't that great. Won't be buying it again. However, I'll forward your blog header compliment to Mr. SV. He insisted on trying to capture the beauty of the snow on the river banks and the fog on Old Rag.
