Monday, November 14th

Lunch was a 'Burrito Bowl' from Moe's Southwest Grill. On Mondays, for $5, you get the Bowl and a Beverage. Pretty good deal, but the quality is so far beneath Chipotle, IMHO, I'd rather just pay the extra $1.50 and go to Chipotle.
Gardein Crispy Tenders w/Heinz-57 and Acorn Squash for dinner.
Dessert was a very stale Mystery Truffle.
Anyhoo, remember how last week I was b*tchin' about the threats to take away the extra WFH day if we don't meet our deadlines? Well, funny thing...heh...I think I might have accidentally missed a deadline. Since the realization, at about 3:30pm, 'fight or flight' toxins have been coursing through my veins. Losing the 2nd WFH day would be extra special humiliation I don't need right now and/or the impetus to finally do something with my life. Will keep you informed, Fair Readers.

Oh no! I feel anxious on your behalf. Where's the wine/vodka when you need it?!? Everybody makes mistakes sometimes, though. Hopefully "management" realizes that.

Oh no! I hope that everything works out ok for you in the end. Definitely keep us posted!

I'd heard that Moe's does tofu for their veg burritos but the not so glowing review will keep me in line at Chipotle. The squash for dinner looks beautiful!

Good luck with the deadline, fingers are crossed for you!

Yikes, I hope you didn't miss it! Like Stacy said, everyone makes mistakes and your manager should realize that.

It's too bad the bowl wasn't that great, but at least it was cheap.

Regarding Wisconsin, I feel like we're going backwards around here. People seem to be devolving, especially since the whole concealed carry thing went through. Scary times.

Hey, yeah! Where is all your vodka/wine?? If not now...
I've been sort of worrying too about my job but I think I'm just absurdly, insanely paranoid. OR AM I?
Hey, Shen, if we both lose our jobs let's just throw caution to the wind and move to the Pacific Northwest, okay??
Anyway, I have never had Chipotle or Moe's but yah that guacamole doesn't look like it compares to Chipotle's. But what do I know.

Murphy's Law!! I hope your deadline situation pans out. That's so typical...exactly like something that would happen to me. Do keep us posted, I'm betting things will work out...you're Shen after all...they must know how awesome you are.

Yeah, at first glance the burrito bowl doesn't look so different from the Chipotle one, but heeding Maud's observation...that guac looks a little too much like baby food, and the olives just aren't as shiny.

Moving to the PNW??? Well, if you guys come, we'll have a full on vegan welcoming committee ready and waiting.

Oh No! I feel your stress. I sure hope everything works out okay! Please do keep us posted. I'm also wondering where the wine/vodka is?

I've tried one of Moe's Burrito Bowls before, but didn't care for it too much. I like their burritos much better. See, I need to try Chipotle, so I can compare them. :o)

Oh, the acorn squash looks so yummy!

Hey Now!!!!

Stacy, you're so cute! Management lives to pounce on mistakes (but when they make one, it's fat-fingered hilarity).

VaVa, Moe's is not your M.O. You value nutrition, not just value.

Molly, that is super scary about Wisconsin. I vacationed in Lake Geneva as a child, so I have fond memories.

FF, yesterdays post wouldn't have been possible without the miracle of vodka. I thought union jobs were more iron-clad than gov'mt positions?!

Rose, had I not b*tched to the internet about the deadline crap, none of that would've happened to me. Now I know better. (Get the guest bedroom ready;0))

Michelle2, breathing & sleeping would not have been possible last night were it not for the Danish vodka. I was a basket case.

Jenny, thanks! Talk about physically debilitating sh*t for nothing at all....
