A Quicky Post

I brought three of these Donut Holes for breakfast. All the Nutrilicious donuts I've bought in the past were fantastic, but these were no better than the burnt Blueberry Muffins I made a month or two ago. Just a heads up.
An unusual find on the Whole Foods Salad Bar -- Raw Kale Salad tossed with Lemon, Garlic, Nutritional Yeast, Cider Vinegar and one or two other ingredients. I loaded up cuz Deb said today is 'National Eat Your Greens Day'. Speaking of Deb, her daughter, Morgan's, Glazed Tempeh recipe is great. I didn't express it correctly yesterday that the Tempeh was great, I was just disappointed in what I did with the Tempeh. Capiche?
Back to lunch -- I also got some Quinoa with Squash and Chickpeas, Roasted Asparagus and Artichoke Salad just in case the Kale wasn't enough (but of course it was).
Dinner was Mr. SV's Spaghetti (Classico Red Pepper Sauce/TJ's Meatless Meatballs)...
Another Whole Foods creation for dessert....
This was one of the best Blueberry Pies I've ever tasted, if not The Best.
A bottle of Charles Shaw Shiraz was also enjoyed...

Shen, I am so proud of you for getting lots of greens in today. I will have to look for the new Kale Salad at Whole Foods. How did you like it?
I agree with everyone else that the blueberry pie looks so delicious.

So, I haven't been here in a couple of days and I see you've already been checking out a tempeh recipe. So, I checked it out, and we both use soy sauce and both say "whisk." Yipes, I swear I didn't cheat! Glad you had a good food day, by the way. :-)

Looks like some seriously delicious eats. The kale sounds so yummy with lemon and nut. yeast and vinegar. And the quinoa w/ squash and chickpeas sounds fab too.

You've reminded me that I haven't had one slice of pie all summer...I'll have to rectify that soon.

Sucks about the donuts! I've had a couple of flavors of those and loved 'em. But before WF started carrying them, I used to order them from Food Fight. And the last time I did so, they came in moldy. Ugh.

I've always been a little wary of those donut holes, so I'm glad you warned us :-). By the way, I'm passing on this Most Versatile Blogger Award to you; you can check out the details on my blog if you'd like to participate!

Hello, Ladies!!!!

Morgan, I DID like the Tempeh. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Carissa, we all understand you're under extreme stress these days.

Deb, you inspired me. I really enjoyed the Kale Salad. Super satisfying.

Blessed Mama, I hope to see more Tempeh on your blog. Hopefully original recipes.

Bianca, thanks for confirming my donut issues.

Dianne, Wow! You bestowed an award on me?! I am humbled and honored!

Michelle1, you will love Kale. It rules. Go for it.

Michelle2, when do we see you try Lentil Soup? We're waiting.

To all, thanks for admiring my pie!
