Major Caloric Intake

Lunch was Fettucine with Broccoli & Sun-Dried Tomatoes at Brio...
Dinner was Sloppy Joes and Fries...
Dessert was a slice of Silky Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. If you put your cursor over the name of the pie and double click, it should take you to the recipe at Food.Com. It's really incredible.
Lots of Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot...

can you imagine eating a "regular" sloopy joe now? *shudders* how can people eat ground up cow? they are so conditioned.

That pie does look so good. I salute your ability to eat one piece of something for dessert every night, and not, you know, the whole thing...

Wow, S.V., you are becoming a genuine place to find some great recipes. That pie looks easy - I followed your directions and looked it up. And the sloppy joes look tasty too; are we going to get that recipe as well? Go girl!

Yeah, Fantastic sloppy joes! I have only been to our Brio once, I might have to look into it again - or is that just a business lunch favorite?

Hello, Ladies!!!!

Morgan, I ate about a loaf of bread at lunch. I shouldn't have eaten anything for the rest of the day.

Michelle, the pie is so simple (yet messy) to make. I hope you try it. The Sloppy (Sloopy?) Joes look rather shiny in the picture. I could see how they could evoke shudders, but I assure you, they're just TVP.

Zoa, I guess I am grateful I don't feel the need to eat the whole pie. I just feel the need to drink the entire bottle of vino.

Blessed Mama, the pie recipe is just like your Lemon Tart! The SJs are just the Fantastic World Foods box mix. You would probably need two boxes to feed five hungry vegans.

Thanks, Deb!

Jessica, Brio is not that vegan friendly. I wouldn't urge you to go, especially since you have other options.
