I Enjoy Being A Vegan

Lunch was off the WF's Salad Bar.
Dinner was Martha Stewart's Black Bean and Brown Rice Cakes and Elise's Fry Sauce. Roasted Acorn Squash on the side.
Dessert was Soy Delicious Chocolate Velvet topped with some Almonds that have been hit with a hammer.
Lots of Frontera Shiraz...

Exceptional variety today off the salad bar. And the acorn squash looks good, too.

Yaay for all of us saving 90 animals a year! Those burgers look great, and I simply have to try that fry sauce after reading everyone describe it so lusciously.

Yaay for squash season too.

I think I will make those burgers next to go with my fry sauce. :o)
The acorn squash does look good. I am looking forward to trying all the different kinds of squash this fall! I amaze myself at times now that I am a vegan. I would have never dreamed of eating all these different kinds of squash before.

Hello, Ladies!!!!

Jessica, non-vegans just don't know how to make a salad do they?

Dianne, yeah, coming up with these titles is grueling.

Deb, I only make the Bean & Rice Cakes when I have to use up leftover Brown Rice. But they're easy and good...especially with Fry Sauce.

Michelle1, I've heard about that heat wave on the west coast. Too bad all your new clothes are so bulky and heavy.

Rose, you gonna start blogging again on Friday?

Morgan, thanks! Like I told your Mom, the Bean Cakes are just a way to use up leftover brown rice (from PF Changs) and get some much-needed Fry Sauce in me.

Michelle2, I love when I amaze myself. It's the best feeling. Thanks for taking us along on your journey.

We should all go vegan so we'll have no guilt looking at those animals, actually we have nothing to lose here because most vegans know a great recipe to satisfy its craving.
