Food! Glorious Food!

Lunch and dinner were both carryout from Sunflower. (Mr. SV got promoted to Head Muckety-Muck this week, so we decided gorging ourselves would be a good way to celebrate). Lunch was the Mizuni Sansai Noodles (Soba Noodles) with Sauteed Soy Gluten, Wood Ear Mushrooms, Japanese Parsley, Bracken & Vegetables, tossed with seacress(green nori flake-gomashio(wtf?)).
'Curry Supreme' for dinner (Chunks of Soy Protein served with Broccoli, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Carrots and Green Peas in a special Japanese curry sauce).
Dessert was a Blessed Mama Chocolate Chip Pecan Bar. There's only one piece left, so I will need to make more this weekend (unless Blessed Mama herself (or her blessings) want to make me some more. Yes, I will accept your offer now).
Lots of Lost Vineyards Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon...

Congrats to Mr. S.V.! We love to celebrate with food, or rather, have any excuse to overindulge. Good job. S.V., I think you're doing a wonderful job on those bars, and I'm pushing you from my nest, little birdie! But, I'll cautiously leave the offer open for a recipe in the future, but I want to see a picture of how you made it first... :-)

Yes, *bracken*? What is that? My ex-inlaw used to call my diet DRAB (Diet of Roots and Berries) and bracken would have fit right into his prejudices...Glad for Mr. SV, though. I've always yearned to be a Muckety-Muck myself but it was not to be.

That soba dish looks delicious. Hooray for Head Muckety-Muck, right? Or is that a slam on the corporate life? Either way, a celebration with food is always appropriate.
