Thursday, July 12th

Breakfast en route to work.
WFs had a little grill set up in the store today with a guy cooking Veggie Burgers. I showed my support for that little vegan set-up with my shopping/eating dollars $5.99.
Very enjoyable Burger along with a cup of Minestrone $3.99.
More WFs at dinner with General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Kale and last night's leftover Mashed Potatoes.
Since WFs was doing so well for me today, I just kept going with the WF's theme through dessert with a piece of their Blueberry Pie and a scoop of So Delicious Vanilla Soy Ice Cream.
Coming up tomorrow: Hoping to work from home again.

WTF Wednesday

Veganomicon's Blueberry Corn Pancakes for breakfast. Just for clarification, I am not making these fresh daily, they're reheated pancakes from the huge batch I made on Saturday. The berries are getting larger over time.
TJ's Crispy Tenders with Heinz-57 for lunch.
Field Roast Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy for dinner. Not the most summery meal, but at least there is no turning on the oven for Mashed Potatoes and Gravy.
Half a slice of Hazelnut Cake from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert.
Maybe tomorrow will involve a green vegetable.

Tuesday, July 10th

So it appears I was wrong about today's eats being interesting. Kashi Autumn Wheat with Almond Milk for breakfast.
Hummus and Pita from Shish Kabob Express for lunch.
Boca Chicken Patties with Spinach Salad and Goddess Dressing.
Coming up tomorrow: Definitely more interesting eats. It's impossible for it to be otherwise.

Monday, July 9th

I'm taking vacation days today and tomorrow, so I enjoyed a hot breakfast at home: Veganomicon's Blueberry Corn Pancakes.
Veggie Burrito Bowl from Chipotle for lunch.
Veggie Turkey Salad from The Common Market on WF's Rosemary Sourdough for dinner.
Things should be more interesting tomorrow, at least lunch-wise.

Sunday, July 8th

By the time I got up this morning, it was time to go to lunch. I went with The Crispy Burger $7.95 at Loving Hut. I believe this burger may have actually surpassed Everlasting Life Cafe's Fried Chicken in terms of deliciousness.
TJ's Meatless Meatballs with Mac & Cheese from Everlasting Life Cafe for dinner.
Hazelnut Cake from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert.
Another fantastic day of professionally prepared vegan cuisine. I feel very fortunate on days like these.

Saturday, July 7th

No, not giant Chocolate Chip Cookies -- Veganomicon's Blueberry Corn Pancakes. Easy to make, but Mr. SV opined that 'the Blueberries needed to be cut up'. I think he was trying to say I should've used smaller berries and distributed them more evenly.
A gorgeous girl watched me make the pancakes...
Lunch was at One Block West where Farm Market Gazpacho $4 was the Soup Du Jour...
Our hot loaf of fresh baked bread...
My Pizza with Tofu-based 'cheese', Spinach and Tomatoes $10...
Mr. SV's Pasta $8 with Artichokes, Basil, Capers, Tomatoes...
After lunch, we were bummed to find out our mail man is retiring. We will miss his cheerful demeanor and reliable service.
Gardein Burgers with Corn on the Cob for dinner.
Even though I have both air conditioning and a luscious piece of Vegan Treats Hazelnut Cake, I just felt too hot to endulge in dessert.

Friday, July 6th

By now we all know what a Peanut Butter and Banana looks like, so no breakfast picture. Lunch was the Mediterranean Penne Pasta from Brio Italian Grille. Mushrooms, Spinach, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Caramelized Onions and Pine Nuts. Plus a few loaves of bread.
Boca Chicken Patties and Spinach from Shish Kabob Express for dinner.
That's it for today. Nothing more to see here. Move it along.

WTF Thursday

Eggless Egg Salad from The Common Market on WF's Rosemary Sourdough for breakfast
TJ's Crispy Chicken Tenders for lunch.
More Dolmeh from Shish Kabob Express for an afternoon snack.
Veggie Chili from The Common Market for dinner.
More Hummus and Pita from Shish Kabob Express for dessert.
So all my food today was prepared somewhere else. Worked out really well.

Wednesday, July 4th

Breakfast was at Sticky Fingers where I ordered the French Toast Platter. They made a mistake and gave me just French Toast...
then they brought out Tofu Scramble and Cheesy Grits separately to make it a 'platter'.  Got to see the owner, Doron Petersan, working there too, it was like a celebrity sighting.
Breakfast was a massive amount of food, so no lunch, just one of their carryout Avocado Chicken Wraps for dinner.
Rice Divine Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge for dessert.
Kept thinking it was Sunday all day and that I had to put the trash out. Hope everyone had a pleasant holiday and thanks for the technical advice.

WTF Tuesday

What a healthy breakfast I had!

Lunch was leftovers from Shish Kabob Express.  Unusually good for food from a place called 'Shish Kabob Express'.

Mr. SV brought in dinner from Thai Deelish. I didn't ask him to, in fact, there was really no stopping him. He loves that place.
No dessert tonight, I was too stuffed from dinner.
Coming up tomorrow: Let there be Vegenaisse!~ (I tried leaving some comments on other blogs, but some google glitch kept saying I had to 'pick a profile', so I'll catch up tomorrow (unless I never have a profile)).

Monday, July 2nd

The usual breakfast...
I got a Groupon-induced carryout lunch from Shish Kabob Express. Two Vegetarian Platters $9.99 consisting of two orders of Hummus, two of Dolmeh, one of Chickpeas and one of Spinach. Plus tons of Naan. Best Dolmeh I've ever had, not vinegary like some can be. Creamy Hummus. The Chickpeas and Naan were great too.
The rest of the Nigerian Peanut Soup for dinner.
German Choc Cake from The Common Market for dessert
It looks moist and delicious, but it was actually dry and mediocre. Appearances can be deceiving.
Coming up tomorrow: WTF Grub.

Sunday, July 1st

Breakfast was at Cafe Nola: Tofu Scramble $10. Check out that dude's bare foot in the background.

Asmar's Tuna Salad on WF's Rosemary Sourdough Bread. Great bread! Organic to boot.

Field Roast Franks and Corn on the Cob for dinner. It's the American way.
Cleo Cups for dessert. Yes, I like them better than Justin's.

Coming up tomorrow: Sitting in the office all day thinking about food.
