Saturday, March 21st

My Tofurky Reuben at Common Market was the best I have ever had. The epitome of Vegan Reuben greatness...
Dinner was carried out from their Hot Bar -- Tofu and Peppers alongside Roasted Potatoes. The Tofu was very good, the Potatoes were a bit of a fail, but the Pups didnt mind....
Semi-ancient Coconut Almond Cake from Vegan Treats for dessert...
Back to True Food Kitchen tomorrow. Bye for now.

That certainly looks like the best ruben ever! Nice job on the toasting and the inside layers look perfectly proportioned. I can't imagine purchased potatoes would be better than the gorgeous ones you make so often....
I don't understand old cake but hopefully that was still tasty.

Yes i will be back to sunday brunching tomorrow:) It's with the omni friends so we'll see if/what options there are-but as long as there's a good bloody mary i can deal.

Yum! The reuben does look pretty freakin' fantastic. I have half a mind to go to Native Foods for lunch now. Remy loves potatoes, too! I've mentioned my desire to get to TFK, let's see if someone takes me up on it during Spring Break (one more week to go!).

Wow, yes, I want that Reuben! It's beautiful.
Common market seems like a pretty cool place.
The cake looks fantastic too, but I'm not sure I'd have let it get "ancient," or even semi-ancient.

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, old cake is like that cake you would get at birthday parties when you were a little kid. Or at least I did. Hope your omni friends picked someplace great. Ever get one of those Bloody Marys like FF shows with a whole meal on a stick insertd in your drink?

VP, it was a great food day. the trend should continue through the week as well.

Ingrid, I was totally in the 'Reuben Zone' while i ate my sandwich. You can always get carryout from restaurants and enjoy at home with Remy.

FF, things get ancient down here. As long as there is no blue fur, it is still good.
