Thursday, March 26th

Took off work today, so I had time to track down Randy Radish's new location in Ashburn. They had their Tofu Reuby on the menu this week. Inhaled in seconds...
Spent two hours at the vet with Monsieur Mango. He has arthritis in his 11 1/2 year old hips. Was so on his best behavior though. Such a love bug at the doctor's but at home everything has to be his way...
Randy Radish Kale Salad (came as a side with my Sandwich) for dinner with a sliced Tomato (Whole Foods had Organic Tomatoes on the Vine for $2.99/pound). Who knew Raisins worked in Kale, but they do!
Half a pound of Common Market Curried Pasta Salad for dessert...
Incredibly fantastic. Gotta get more of this...
Staying home tomorrow. Bye for now.

Randy's rubens are obviously the best just from the pics. Sounds like their store isn't easy to get to...? Hope they are doing tons of business in the new location.
Mango is soooo regal! I hope the hips are ok and the vet visit went well.
If its a good kale salad anything can go in it-i usually hate fruit in salads but a few chewy raisins are good. Great find with that pasta salad- perfect for warmer weather!

Well they give us a 10min break in the morning and afternoon plus lunch but I'm definitely minimizing my liquid intake...! Today's vegetarian dim sum eased the pain of realizing we won't finish this week.

Aw mr. Mango! He deserves to have everything his way! Give him a hug for me.
Raisins are really good in kale! I think, from the many cookbooks I've read, that raisins and greens are a typically Sicilian way to eat them, but I could be wrong.
The curry pasta sounds like an interesting mix...

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, Randy's current location takes a little effort to get to, but is worth it in the end. i could never sit there all day with just two 10 minute breaks and lunch. Maybe in the olden days people could just sit like that, but we now know that a break every hour is necessary! Dim Sum is so great. I would be shoveling that in big time. Would it make up for sitting all day? No.

VP, the Pasta Salad was incredible. Everyone should put Curry in their Pasta Salad!

FF, Raisins pop up in savory grub all over the place -- I am talking to you Basmati Rice. Gotta give them dried out Grapes more credit.

I've had great luck with acupuncture for my cats. Both Dr. Kocen and Dr. Khoury at South Paws are terrific. last I knew, you may need a referral from your vet to get an appointment. But arthritis is what acupuncture is really great at, so many vets should be glad to give a referral. Might really help Monsieur Mango.
