Monday, March 16th

Toasted NYC Cinnamon Raisin Bagel for breakfast...
Native Foods Veggie Chili for lunch. They were out of Cornbread yesterday, so they subbed Brownies instead....
TJ's  Mandarin Orange 'Morsels' with Orange Pepper for dinner....
Really tasty. Should eat this more often...
Half of a Native Foods Brownie for dessert. Fudgy as fudge....
Great food day. Everything 100% delicious, we should all be so lucky. Bye for now.

I can attest to the awesomeness that is TJ's orange chik'n. Good stuff. I like how we're both using a take out theme in our dinners! Ha ha!

I caught up on your weekend eats and they looked so yummy. Glad the sandwich was really delicious and I feel like it will be easier to keep that one consistent. And when did Passover food start to look normal? I feel like it always looked (and tasted) like cardboard but all of a sudden there are gorgeous truffles?

Anyway, hooray for New York bagels! That was sweet of Unknown to send them to you. Those mandarin nugget things look really good. I would just be nervous about the whole orange zest thing. I didn't realize how much I would miss orange zest! The brownie looks incredible!

PS I LOVED the pup pics in your last post!

Wait, what? You got a free brownie for them being out of cornbread? That sounds ok. You should sneak in overnight and steal all their cornbread so that they are out more often, that way you get the stolen cornbread AND a free brownie :D Yr welcome!!
I hope that pepper is organic. They are the one thing I freak out about pesticides on...for some reason.

So you didn't have anything to dunk in the chili?? I mean, i guess you could dunk the brownie in it....
I' ve seen that mandarin orange chickenless meal but never tried it (keep the fruit away from my savory please) nice find there! And that does look like a great brownie there.

Ha! That second comment yesterday was not me!! I was dead asleep that late... And kinda wonder who the other unknown is...

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, we're doing the fake and real thing like vegan Sandra lLees.

Sarah, the Passover Truffles were unfortunately too sugary sweet. It is a shame that kosher food can be so unappetizing (like those chocolate covered jelly rings). I am sorry you cant do Orange zest. Couldnt do the Pepper either.

FF, thanks for brainstorming how to get more free Brownies. Probably best if I dont eat too many though. The Pepper was organic, I get freaked out by pesticides on produce i buy, but dont care when non-organic food is served to me in a restaurant or hot bar. Wonder why?

Unknown, yeah, I was disappointed there was nothing to dunk in the Chili, but it was really tasty with the Cashew Cheese blob. I love sweet and savory! wish i didnt love so many things. Another Unknown makes things very confusing, but thanks for splainin.Totally seemed out of character for you to comment twice.

Other Unknown, i was so glad to hear Native Foods has done so much business that they sold out of something. They really didnt have to give me anything extra, but i aint gonna refuse brownies.
