Tuesday, September 30th

Okay, here we go again: Dawson's Market Eggless Egg Salad on a toasted Rudi's English Muffin for breakfast...
WF's Black Bean Soup for lunch...
Earth Balance Cheddar Puffs for an afternoon snack...
Gardein Beefless Burgers with Oven Fries for dinner...
Half of an extremely moist and fudgy Brownie from Native Foods for dessert...
Phew! I documented all my eats for the day. Sometimes you just have to power through. Bye for now.

Wow that soup looks so thick. The eggless salad looks pretty chunky too. Lots of interesting textures today, huh?
Love those cheese puffs. I could certainly go for a moist brownie right about now.

Haha I had the same reaction to the soup that FF did. It looks so thick and really delicious. Gotta love the oven fries, especially on a yucky day. I think I see some sweet potato oven fries in my future. That brownie looks ridiculously amazing.

Allow me echo the soup sentiments - nearly like my Cuban Black Beans in its durability! Darn it, I keep forgetting to look for those puffs. I haven't tried the Native Foods brownie, but I have had their Oatmeal Cream Pie. A little too sweet!

I don't understand how you can have leftover cheesecake and not eat it...
The eggless salad does look nice and chunky today, and WF sure didn't scrimp on the beans in that soup!
Do the EB puffs leave a cheesey residue on your fingers? I am pro finger licking in the privacy of my home, so sometimes a cheesey residue is a good thing.
That brownie is amazing.....

Hey Now!!!!

FF, the Soup wasnt as thick before I left it on the stove for 15 minutes too long. Seemed to have 'reduced' somehow. Still hit the spot like I was hoping for.

Sarah, do you still have any desserts left over from your bday celebration? The Smore you got was certainly impressive looking.

Ingrid, I expected Native Foods to be 100% perfect. Surprised to sees a find a few flaws, but I will get over it.

Unknown, serioulsy, this piece of Cheescake is massive. Bigger than the slice you get a Cheesecake Factory. The Cheese Puffs are just like Pirates Booty, not like real Cheetos. Not much residue to enjoy.

Abby, it is certainly strange that Native Foods came to DC before NYC/PHI/BOS. But I am certainly glad they did!
