Monday, September 29th

Two very ripe juicy Bartlett Pears for breakfast...
WF's Lentil Soup for lunch...
No spiciness that I could detect...
got to WF's at 10:45, so it was still Breakfast on the Hot Bar. I can never resist their Potatoes O'Brien...
Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese from Woodlands Vegan Bistro for dinner...
Also from Woodland's: Blueberry Cheesecake for dessert...
All different grub tomorrow. Bye for now.

What an exciting weekend you had. Even nicer when the weekend food extends into the workweek. The fried chicken and blueberry cheesecake look VERY legit. But the pears are nice too.

I agree. I'm not normally into fried chicken, but that looks real!

I have such horrible luck with pears! They're either hard and turn to grainy mush or start as mush and bruised.
Maybe the WF spice of the soup was stuck at the bottom of the pot? Those do look like good potatoes with some chunky vegetables in there.
Was the cheesecake as good as it looks? I can't decide if the bottom crust was extra thick or the cheesecake layer was thin....

I had a new to me bar today from "go macro" that is worthwhile if you see them, the sesame and dates flavor.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, it was an unusually eventfil weekend for me, but now it is firmly back to the same old .

Abby, I have been eating quite a bit of 'too real' vegan food lately. You just gotta trust that it is vegan.

Unknown, the only thing worse than a bad Pear is a bad Peach. I have definitely 'been there'. I will try to remember to stir up the Soup next time. It is a humongous piece of Cheesecake, the bottom crust is @ 1/2" thick. tasted like the real thing. Thanks for the health bar rec, although, we dont get the wide variety down here that you get up there. I will look for it.
