Tuesday, September 9th

Two sweet & juicy Peaches for breakfast. I may not push my Peach luck any further though...
Per FF's advice, I bought a smaller Heirloom Tomato so that there would be no leftovers once it was cut. Worked out perfectly...
Earth Balance White Cheddar Puffs for an afternoon snack...
A Cup of Lentil Soup from The Randy Radish...
and a Mac & Cheese Muffin from Dawson's Market for dinner...
Half a piece of Sweet & Natural's Vanilla Chocolate Creme Cake for dessert...
A fantastic food day. Bye for now.

Fantastic food day indeed! I had a peach today too and it was delicious but I think you are right, the season is probably going to be ending soon. The tomatoes look really yummy and definitely a good call to get some smaller ones. Gotta love the mac n cheese muffin and that cake! I bet the only way to make that cake better is mocha almond fudge ice cream ;) Totally going to look for it next time I'm at the store (if I remember).

I hear ya on the peaches! I'll finish the one or two I have then it's on to apples.

I still haven't seen the Earth Balance brand of chips here. I'll have to look harder. ;)

Mac & Cheese muffin, accompanied by soup - it's the new grilled cheese and soup combo!

Definitely a Delicious Day! I was pleasantly surprised by a good plum the other day, but also had two crappy nectarines- summer fruit is fading quickly here. Good idea with the tomato, although since i eat so much of it while slicing it wouldn't work for me so well.
Mac and cheese muffin is a perfect soup side! Well, almost...its probably weird to dunk in the soup like crackers. Hmm. The cake looks great- yellow cake and chocolate frosting is the perfect balance.

We should find some kind of professional conference or class as your excuse to visit nyc- and then the whole trip could be tax deductible too ;)!

Peaches and tomatoes! Perfect summer food. I wonder when the cut off date is.
The lentil soup looks really good but the mac muffin looks even better...

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, at least I got to enjoy Peaches this summer. Something that would not have happened had you not guaranteed their deliciousness.

Ingrid, the Earth Balance Cheddar Puffs are very much like Pirate Booty, so no need to look too hard.

Unknown, I totally missed Nectarines this season. Appreciate the travel encouragement. There is a short window available now between when it's too hot and when it's too cold.

FF, the Mac & Cheese Muffin was particularly good. So good It made me question its veganess/veganality?
