Sunday, June 26th

Today we returned to the scene of my first ever blog post. I was so young and naive back then. Today's lunch was Vegan Chili — Lentils, Black Beans and Vegetables topped with Guacamole $4and The Reuben - Marinated Tempeh, Sauerkraut, Caramelized Onions, & Vegan Russian Dressing on Rye $9
Mr. SV took this aerial photo.
He also did the Grillmeister thing tonight -- Boca Burgers, Onion & Corn. I added the Tomatoes and Fry Sauce.
Another third of a Chocolate Chip Cookie from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert.
Alice White Shiraz.

Ah, returning to the first blog post...so young and naive: I totally know what you mean...I feel that way too when I look at older posts on my own blog.

Anyway, your lunch looks rockin'. That reuben just looks and sounds delicious...I need to eat reubens more often.

I think we're following your cue and doing the grill tonight too! That corn looks beautiful!

I love vegan Reubens. I've never actually had a non-vegan one. That looks great.

I know what you mean about those early blog posts. I may have to go back and look at some of yours if I ever have a free hour.

Hey Now!!!

Rose, if only I knew then what I know now...

Jenny, I was...OH! I see what you're doing there!

FF, the CC Cookie is so big, it's like it folded in upon itself like our universe.

Jessica, save your surfing time. My early posts are even lamer than my modern day posts.

VaVa, thanks. I'll have to go back and look at the pics to see what you're talking about.

VF, your blog is much more professional than mine. I choose to keep mine rustic.

In the years I've been vegetarian/vegan... I've never thought of making a meat free reuben sandwich. And I'm not sure why not... because your picture looks delish - and they used to be an old fave. Great post!
