Friday, June 24th

I took the day off work. A bowl of Mom's Lentil Soup for lunch. Pasta Salad too. It's been around for several weeks, but looks and tastes only about a week old. Dinner was a conundrum, so I just went with a repeat of yesterday's -- Okara Burgers and Tater Babies w/Elise's Fry SauceAnother oldie but goodie for dessert - a Maple Donut. Eight left.

Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

Glad to see you making your way through the leftovers. I usually cook on my days off, whether there's room in the fridge (or my stomach) or not but then I just end up with more leftovers.

That lentil soup looks yummy! Sad the burgers aren't gluten free and even more sad that the donuts aren't either!

FF, I'm a firm believer in eating food rather than tossing it.

VaVa, thanks for raising my awareness of all the gluten in our food. I believe Bryanna has quite a few gluten-free recipes on her site. I'll check them out.

Rose, the Pasta Salad is getting pretty limp. There's so much left though.

Alessandra, what a cute question! I love it! I eat out because it's better than what I can make for myself at home.
