Tuesday, January 6th

You know....
this drink was supposed to be 'used by' by last Saturday. Enjoyed it for a mid-morning break. It was too cold to go beyond the front porch this morning to get a good pic...
Lunch was the Loving Hut Corn Chowder that came with my New Years Day meal....
Gardein Meatless Meatloaf with Oven Fries for dinner,,,
No dessert. Bye for now.

Corn chowder is fantastic. Haven't seen it around lately.
The meatloaf looks a little less appetizing but who am I?
The turmeric drinks are on sale at WF now too, not sure if you've ever had those or are a fan. They make me feel all glisteny inside.

Oooh, yes that chowder is looking very appealing. Actually your grapefruit looks nice, too. The orange I had today was pretty fantastic, so I'd say we are in full citrus season swing.

I wonder if the Suja holiday flavors are dunzzo for the year now... ? I did like the few banana free flavors i tried- been making my own juice as much as possible lately.
Corn chowder sounds great especially today. Damned its cold!!
Gorgeous oven fries as usual there. Is the meatless loaf like their burger patties but just a different shape?

I discovered frozen "field peas and snaps" today. Aka black eyes peas and sugar snap peas. I was lazy and flopped it into a combo of canned tomatoes, v8, and lots of kale and some vegan pesto for a soup.
And yes, women at least read the ikea directions...

That corn chowder!!! It looks so good, I definitely need some corn chowder in my life. I am sad I couldn't find any of the Christmas flavors for the Suja drinks but I guess the macaccino will have to do. The oven fries look perfect as usual.

Yeah I doubt I'll go for the beyond meat ha. Maybe down the road if I'm really curious but I'll hold off for now ;) hope you are staying warm!

Nice simple day. You keepin' warm with all that white stuff in the background? What's it called again? We don't have that here in Sacramento, ha.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I want to try the Turmeric drinks but am afraid. Even though I am a fan of Turmeric. Weird.

Ingrid, maybe I will give the Oranges another go. One more chance. just one.

Unknown, glad the jucer is up and running in the new digs. The recipe you made sounds pretty complicated -- who has V8, kale and vegan pesto laying around?! Yes, I think the Meatloafs are the same as the Burgers.

Sarah, looking forward to hearing how you like the juice (keep an eye on the expiration date)

Blessed Mama, that white stuff is called the price we have to pay for not having earthquakes and hirricanes.
