Monday, January 26th

Two more Cara Cara Oranges for breakfast...
'Tofu and Vegetables' (formerly #22, now #37) carried out from Loving Hut for lunch...
Wegman's (Gardein brand) Burgers for dinner...ran out of Buns...
Wegman's PB for dessert...
Just an inch of snow for us. My best to those North East. Bye for now.

Yes, perhaps now is a good time to mention that today it was 71 degrees in beautiful Colorado. Tomorrow, the same. In three days: 30. 'Cuz that's how we roll. The good news: the warm front we're experiencing will soon be yours (or at least in time for my parents to fly into Dulles next week).

PB is an excellent dessert.

I'm still waiting for more snow! We got about 5 inches but I want more, and no work. But it has to be both - more snow and still work is no fun.
Never thought to eat two oranges before. maybe I will start.
Was the Rye bread a distracting flavor with the burgers? or was it ok?
Nothin wrong with raspberry cheesecake, I was just wondering what you were passing up in favor of. Any flavor cheesecake would be better than PB for dessert, sheesh. We know you have a stocked dessert tray!

I bought clementines but they're really obnoxious to peel for not much on the inside.
Why is loving hut switching up their numbers?? Are there 15 new dishes that were added between #22 and #37?
Good looking oven fries there, and i think pb is always a good dessert choice!
My office closed a little early today but I'm hoping it dumps overnight, doesn't look bad enough to close the office tomorrow right now... I'll call the magic phone number in the morning to see.

The Loving Hut meal looks so amazing!! I could definitely go for a good meal like that right now. Your dinner looks pretty great too. I'd say marble rye is a pretty great bun substitution. The oven fries look perfect as always.

I'm hearing a lot of "it wasn't that bad" from people. Honestly I don't even know how much snow we got... my guess is about 12-18 inches? We have really bad drift so it's probably about 3-4 feet in some spots in my driveway... plus the mountain from the plow. It'll take a few hours to dig out. The snow is just finishing up about now and it's about 11 AM. Just fueled up though and I'm ready for my cardio! And I have power, yay!

Hey Now!!!!!

Ingrid, no warm fronts predicted for the next seven days here. maybe your parents will bring it with them.

FF, only people in Virginia are allowed to eat two Oranges at once, the rest of the country is only allowed one. The Rye Bread with the Burgers tasted really great. PB for dessert is a winner because i am spooning it out of a humongous jar for however long I want...

Unknown, the weathermen freaked us all out for nuthin! We have the magic phone number as well, and it always says the office is open. Bronchitis getting any better?

Sarah, sounds like your neighbors might be getting their driveways shoveled out by you as well. It is wonderful that you are viewing the snow as a positive challenge and not a potential heart attack.
