Thursday, January 15th

A juicy Grapefruit for breakfast...
The 'Crispy Chicken, Bacon & Avo Club' from Native Foods for lunch. This was the best item I have tried so far on Native Food's menu. Might have been because I was starving. Ate it in my car and made a huge mess...
Native Fries came with the Sandwich Special. They box them up like this for carryout so they dont get soggy. Cool idea...
Black Bear Bistro Veggie Chili for dinner (Mr. SVegetarian picked up several containers when he was in the area last Saturday)....
Staying in tomorrow, but could still possibly be a good food day. Bye for now.

Native Foods really knows what they are doing! That sandwich looks perfect, I can definitely see how that would be the best dish you've tried so far. Packaging the fries like that is pretty awesome because there is nothing worse than soggy fries! Have I mentioned that I'm jealous that you have native foods? ;) have you tried any of their drinks? I've heard they have good lemonades and iced teas.

I would like this to be my food day in the near future. I'm out of citrus, so the envy is real. ;)

Ooh, nice looking special from Native Foods! I'm so glad you have ended up loving that place. I need to look for that sandwich on our local menu! And you have the delicious Black Bear chili...

P.S. Will Loving Hut every franchise and head west? Tell them to do it!

Delicious day! I love the sandwich photo, its like a sandwich selfie! Haha! It looks damned good too, nice thick avocado action in there. Cars are not easy to eat in elegantly. Very clever with the fries box.
Smart move for the Mr to get that chili, i know its one of your favorites.

My yesterday lunch i remembered to bring today was just a lentil/veggie/tomato stew (i cheated and used a jar of marinara in it!) but hit the spot and warmed me up.

Do you get MLK day off? Does anyone...?

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, I always get the Green Tea at Native Foods. Mr. SV gets the Lavendar Lemonade. All-you-can-drink when dining in! They will come to NY soon, I am sure (and you had better go when they do!).

Ingrid, you could open your own Loving Hut franchise. Ya got $150k laying around? maybe you could get a loan from the bank!

Unknown, remember when you ODed on Lentils? My company got bought out and now I do get MLK Day off. Along with the government, so no mail delivery, but everything will be open. Maybe your rush hour commute will be noticeably lighter on Monday?

VP, Native Foods is expanding so rapidly, that one may be in your area soon.
