Sunday, January 18th

This morning's breakfast was just as delicious as yesterday...
More Black Bear Bistro Veggie Chili from Mr. SVegetarian's trip to Warrenton last week. This time with Native Food's Corn Bread...
Still working on that Native Food's PB Whoopie Pie. Just one piece left...
Great food day. Hitting up TFK again tomorrow. Bye for now.

TFK has obviously hit the vegan brunch nirvana for you :) how fabulous to have somewhere like that!
Great idea to mix n match with the chili there. Chili without cornbread is just.....sad.
Enjoy your MLK celebrating, whatever that looks like.

Somehow i caught a nasty cold (i think the immune system is shot from that infection) this weekend but i finally had furniture arrive so no more cardboard box nightstand...downing green juice, zinc, stinky hippie pills and probiotics.

Isn't it nice when you have an idea to do something, you do it, and it works out well? Too often I feel like I get my hopes up and then am just disappointed.
I oughta bake cornbread soon. It's really good, isn't it?
Just eat the whole freakin whoopee.

The question is, will Shen have the same wrap at TFK on MLK, FTW? ;)

We are being teased with spring like weather, so I haven't made chili yet this winter.

On my recent visit to Native Foods, I was so distracted by all of the menu changes that I didn't check out the dessert case.

Three day weekend, three brunches at TFK... I like it! It came around at the perfect time with LPQ going off the rails. I'm glad that you've been enjoying it! The chili and cornbread look like the perfect comfort meal on a horrible day (was it pouring all day by you too?). So jealous of your whoopie pie!

Hey Now!!!!!

Unknown, let's hope it is just the common cold and nothing worse. dont forget lots of hot tea! glad you're pleased with your purchases.

FF, it is rare I can count on somethng being guaranteed good, so I am not used to this. Never had a real appreciation for Cornbread either, but Native Foods has a good recipe. Maybe you do as well? No, I will not eat the whole freakin' Whoopie! You are a bad influence!

Ingrid, no brunch options at TFK Mon-Fri, so I couldnt get the Wrap. Would have gotten if I could have. I didnt realize Native Foods changed their menu. I have only been going a couple months. Gotta try the Key Lime Pie next. Hope they dont take it off the menu before I get to it.

Sarah, I was just thinking how LPQ went off the rails and how horrible it would be if TFK did the same. Why'd you mention that???? No need to be jealous of my Whoopie Pie. You can bake better,
