Saturday, January 24th

It has been five long days since my last 'Tofu Scramble Wrap' at True Food Kitchen...
Since watching that lousy movie, 'The Hundred Foot Journey', I have been craving Indian Food, but my fear of ghee has kept me from getting carryout from a Restaurant...
WF's to the rescue...
the Pakoras were great, but the Mint Chutney that came with them contains milk. Weird...
Also weird, these elongated Gardein Roasts...
More Choco Chews for dessert....
Back for more TFK tomorrow. Bye for now.

Yea, I was having the same conversation today about ghee but I guess you can always ask. And Unknown always says it's cheaper to use oil, so it makes sense that they'd do that. Very weird about the milk in chutney though.
Haven't had Indian food in a long time, haven't seen that movie either, but the Lunchbox movie had the same effect on me!

Glad you made it to TFK for your fix! The garbanzos sound really flavorful- that is weird there's milk in the mint chutney. Supposedly dairy helps if food is too spicy, so maybe that's why..?
Those elongated gardein ovals are so funny looking somehow! Did you buy one? Looks like they are maybe made at WF....
I slept a ton today, hoping to do the same tomorrow. Although at this rate it might be summer before i'm actually all unpacked in my new apt...

I too wonder if you purchased any of the Gardein Roasts - looks like an ok price!

Indian food is tricky, I've only been to a place once and I asked to have it made without ghee, and they said that wasn't a problem. But WF does a good job with their offerings!

Looks like you were able to satisfy some cravings today! The breakfast wrap looks really great as always. Definitely a warming and comforting breakfast. Very strange that the chutney had milk in it but at least the pakoras were good!

I definitely must find those chews, they look so yummy. Did you get them at Whole Foods?

Hey Now!!!!

FF, the Lunchbox movie was a good movie as well as educational. Could use more of that.

Unknown, I didnt buy a Gardein Roast cuz I have so much faux meat in the fridge and freezer already. That is the thing about moving -- some things never get unboxed. yet you cant throw them away either. hope you are feeling better.

Ingrid, maybe once I deplete my stockpile of faux meat, I may purchase some of that special Gardein.

Sarah, the Choco Chews are from a local chain, but i will look for them at WFs next time I am there. I eat the whole bag, but you would probably just eat one or two,
