Sunday, Dcember 7th

My 'Tofu Scramble Wrap' at True Food Kitchen this morning...
It has been a long time since I have had Black Bear Bistro's Veggie Chili. Mr. SVegetarian was driving by yesterday and picked up a few bowls to go. I enjoyed one tonight with a slice of LPQ's WW Bread. IMO, this is the best local Veggie Chili in the D.C. area. You cant rely on BBB having it, but when they do, it is seriously the best...
A big chunk of Peppermint Cookies and Cream Chocolate Bark for dessert...
A fantastic food day. Bye for now.

I see some great meals as of late. I'm glad the Black Bear Bistro Veggie Chili has returned to your tastebuds. I'm a little envious that parents are heading to VA in February to visit Grandma, and I can't take the time off! I'll tell them to eat at all the yummy places I see on your blog (although, they are carnivores...)/

That breakfast wrap always looks so freaking good..! Great start to the day. Why doesn't black bear always have the chili?? Its cold! People need chili! Good move on the Mr's part to pick up multiples there. Does it get more spicy after sitting for a day or two?
How are the furry family members lately??

Yes, i have to move by the end of the month- aka worst time ever to move... I **think** i found a place, just have to see if the application is approved in a few days. Heading uptown, still manhattan but i just can't afford anything bigger than a jail cell further downtown.

The wrap looks good as always.
I'm sitting here thinking what soup I should make for the week but now I feel like I should make chili. Though that is one thing I've never quite gotten the hang of - it wouldn't be anywhere near as good as BBB.

Hey Now!!!!!

Ingrid, i am sure your Grandma has her favorite restaurants she will want to go to with your rents. When you visit...then it will be a different story...

Unknown, BBB is always revising their menu and even then, they dont keep it up to date online. The Chili was spicy, but just the right amount. In your honor, I got a smidge of a fuzzy for today's post. Make sure you pick the right apartment so you dont have to move again right away. How can you go to CA over the holidays if you're moving?

FF, the best Chili is always mysterious. I cant do it either.
