Kashi Raisin Vineyard with Hemp Milk for breakfast...
the rest of the PF Changs MaPo Tofu reheated for lunch (that was a great value. It was a massive portion and tastes even better reheated)...
Decided to binge on Gardein Beefless Burgers with WF's WW Buns and Oven Fries for dinner...
Too stuffed for dessert. Bye for now.

Definitely a great food day! The Ma Po always looks so yummy and I can imagine it tastes better as leftovers as the flavors get soaked up even more! Dinner looks great as well!

I know you don't like to cause a scene but did you tell them that they can't label a menu item vegan if it isn't actually vegan?! That's false advertising and just plain wrong. What if someone is vegan because they have a dairy and/or egg allergy? So ridiculous.

Today I know the feeling of "too stuff for dessert," which I wasn't sure was possible.
The ma po tofu does look great. Hearty chunks of broccoli are the best.

Yum, I like the looks of today's menu - no dessert needed! I have a question about the MaPo Tofu - is it a silken tofu or is it a slightly crispy texture?

The mapo looks great today too! Are you anti-rice?? Now that i think of it I don't really remember seeing rice here much as a side dish...
Two dinky burgers are not a binge, sorry. You're two pies and a pint of ice cream shy of qualifying. Good looking oven fries!

I'm re-in love with wild rice blends this fall, but in stews or soups, not just plain as a side dish. Adds a nice chewy texture and that unique kind of nutty rice flavor.

Sarah, I totally agree regarding the labeling the items 'vegan' but True Food Kitchen is relatively new and it is all just a bnch of teenagers working there. I dont want them to start to dislike vegans. You always know the right thing to say, and I am terrible at it. What can I say when they serve me cheese without coming off like a prima donna?

FF, you get any birthday cake this week? Or just the Brownie?

Ingrid, the PF Changs MapPo Tofu is silken, but some what crispy on the outside. I know some silken tofu can be gross, but PF Changs does it up right, IMO. I am so curious to know what you would think of it. At least try the Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps sometime. Cant go wrong there.

Unknown, I am sort of anti-rice. Usually, I order Brown Rice on the side of my Asian meals and give it to the Pups. I do like Avocado Sushi though. A good Wild Rice Blend is very delicious, which one do you recommend I try as a side dish?
