Wait, so I hear you and Unknown talk all year about that Glogg, but what actually is in there?Cinnamon, clove, ...orange zest? ginger?? and...cardamom? What are those little green pods?Beans and franks won't ever steer you wrong.merry Christmas, Shen! to you and the mr. as well as the pets.
Those gigante beans are one of my favorites! Trader joes used to have them in a jar but i think they were discontinued....? They really are giant. Glogg!! Yay! I made some tonight too! I don't fortify mine since i'm such a cheap date. Doesn't FF know the green pods are the cardamom? Saltines and pb are so perfect together. I don't understand why they even make salt free saltines. Merry merry to the whole Shen family :))After the longest day ever traveling I'm getting kitty cuddles, doggie snuggles, and ingesting my weight in fresh produce. Ttrockwood
Merry Christmas to you, Mr. SVeg and your furry crew! I'm intrigued by the glogg (autocorrect does NOT like that word!), it looks yummy and I bet it smells fantastic! I agree that saltines with pb is a perfect snack. I hope you enjoy your day today!
Hey Now!!!!FF, yep, the little green pods are Cardamom. They are all wrapped in cheesecloth and set to simmer with a bottle of red wine and 2 cups of vodka. Them Swedes sure came up with a doozy of a drink.Unknown, my Glogg was super fortified. I was pretty plastered. Amazing I got the post up last night. What kind of produce are you eating out there? Have the folks tasted the vegan Sausage yet?Sarah, not a single holiday pic on your blog this year? i am disappointed. I always enjoy seeing Delilah in her fancy dress.
