No light here today either, just rainy muck. Randy's wrap looks like its full of a good tofu veggie combo. I'm not sure i understand the fried chicken situation there (is it made from yuba skins??) but whatever, if its good its good!

I've been apartment hunting nonstop lately, and found a delicious beany salad thing at a jamaican cafe in what i hope will be my new neighborhood today. Not a lotta vegan options though...

I was gonna say the same thing about the fried chicken looking like yuba. It's very thin! I've had yuba maybe once as a mock duck dish but didn't like it all that much.
Wonder what would happen if you ate the breakfast burrito for dinner!

I'm so with you, the lack of light is so depressing. I hate when I leave work and it's pitch black outside... and dreary all day. Can we go right from fall to spring?

I could eat breakfast all day every day. So good. The Mac and cheese looks amazing but I agree the chick'n looks thin? And/or it's a lot of batter? Is it good?

Hey Now!!!!

GFHTummy, I eat more Mac & Cheese since going vegan than I ever did in my whole life. Weird that.

Unknown, I am guessing it is layered Yuba Skin that is battered and deep-fried. Tastes good, not as good as the Secret Buddhist Chicken they make in NYC. Speaking of which: Moving?! Gonna try to do it by the end of the month? Going to Brooklyn?

FF, I think the Fried Chicken is Yuba Skin, which I like. You should try it again. I may end up eating the other half of the Breakfast Burrito for dinner. If the universe ends, blame me.

Sarah, the Chicken was thin with lots of Fried Breading, Not your style and not something one should eat too often.
