Monday, December 8th

Nature's Path Flax Plus Raisin Crunch with Hemp Milk for breakfast...
A half an Eggless Egg Salad Sandwich from the Randy Radish for lunch...about an hour later I ate the other half...
I was excited to see a new Field Roast product in the stores...
Unfortunately, this Forager's Roast was not up to their usual standards. Not sure if I will even eat the rest of the Roast (and it weren't cheap). Sad...
not so sad, WF's Chocolate Truffles for dessert....
Bye for now.

That is really a bummer about the field roast product being so bad. I know you don't like to waste food so the fact that you are considering not finishing it must mean it's really bad. What is wrong with it? At least lunch looked good and I bet the rich chocolate truffle took the taste of dinner out of your mouth.

Oh no! I've never heard of a less than stellar Field Roast product! What a letdown. I'd have eaten double the amount of truffles to make up for it. At least you got a pup pic out of it.

Eggless salad and rye is a fab combo- the side of olives is perfect. You've got to take back the foraged roast if it was so bad! Whole foods will take back anything no problem if that's where you got it. The rest of their stuff is so good i wonder what happened there. I saw a non vegan en croute something roast the other day, like a vegetarian wellington roast.... Love the puppy helper!

Yeaaaahhhh...i figure i have to pack basically everything and then go to CA, land in nyc, injest an obscene amount of espresso and move. I should probably be packing right now!!

The four-legged brethren love the field roast products, so I have a feeling I know who will take the rest of the forager's off your hands...

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, this Forager's Roast is supposed to emulate Ham, but it is quite spongy, the 'stuffing' was blah, the Mustard Pineapple Glaze was too strong. Poo! Just remembering it is unpleasant.

FF, even though I didnt like the Field Roast, I still ate the entire portion that I had heated up for myself. The Truffles were more to get the taste out of my mouth (like Sarah just said).

Unknown, just like i avoid making special requests in restaurants, I am not a person who returns things to stores. Espresso pounding and apartment moving?! Sounds like a comedy. Will there be stairs or elevators or both?

Abby, I have no doubt the pups would have made short work of the Roast, but I didnt think it was fair to serve that nastiness to them. Then again, the other Field Roast products I eat, I wont share with them cuz I want it all for myself.
