Monday, December 29th

Well, so much for returning to the old grindstone today. Mr. SVegetarian informed me around 9am this morning that he was taking the day off work, so I went ahead and put in a leave request for the rest off the day as well. Long story short, ended up at Maggiano's where I started with a draft Peroni...
dove head first into tons of great crusty Bread dipped in Olive Oil...
We both ordered the Joey Z's Angel Hair Pomodoro $12.95...
Leftovers enjoyed for dinner with some TJ's Meatless Meatballs...
A Sibu Sura Coconut Pineapple Chocolate Bar for dessert...
Sort of like a belated holiday celebration. Bye for now.

How fun!! Unplanned (happy) days off are the best! Seems like you and the Mr. Had a lovely lunch out. That's an ideal meal for me in an Italian restaurant... I LOVE a really good pomodoro sauce. That chocolate sounds amazing!! What a great combo! I found something on pinterest and it's basically a piece of fresh strawberry, a piece of fresh banana and a piece of fresh pineapple on a toothpick half dipped in chocolate. I don't know why that chocolate bar reminded me of it but it did and now I want it, ha! I've been craving fresh fruit like crazy since I got sick...

Sorry, totally random tangent!

Catching up - Native Foods is very addicting, and I understand the desire to keep going back! I haven't been in a couple of months now, but everything you've tried reminds me of how wonderful it is! Yum!! I hope your holiday has been enjoyable!

Unexpected days off are the best! Delicious pasta and crusty bread! Do it again tomorrow - no working!

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, I think I have seen that pic of the Strawberry, Banana & Pineapple dipped in Chocolate. Makes me wonder how you resist the Chcolate fountains they have at weddings.

Ingrid, actually, Maggiano's would be a great place for your parents to eat with Grandma on their visit. Very popular place in Tysons II. I think it is better than Brio.

GFHTummy, the Chocolate Bar was GF, might be something you could safely eat.

Abby, I will take your advice to heart.
