Thursday, September 25th

Major comfort food day, starting with Bob's Red Mill Oatmeal with Raisins...
A Mon Cuisine 'Chicken Style' Pot Pie for lunch...
these are found in the Kosher Frozen Food Section..
hard to believe, but lower sodium than Amy's Vegetable Pot Pie...
I added some Gardein Chicken and Peas to some Le Grande Vegan Rose Sauce. Didn't work out as deliciously as I had hoped...Pretty bad actually...
Lilly's Chocolate Rugelah for dessert. The Chocolate is way better than the Raspberry IMO...
Supposedly lunch with Mom tomorrow. Bye for now.

It was rainy here this morning which makes it a good morning for oatmeal. (Unless you're me and running waaay late and the UN is screwing up traffic and can't bike because of the rain in which case there's just coffee)

Vegan pot pie?! That's a new one. Was it worth buying again? Too bad the dinner idea wasn't successful, sounds like a good combo.
You ate the rughelah almost five days before it was ripe!!

Hope you're right i'll see mason. If mom lunching doesn't happen then you should just take yourself out.

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, dang that dumb old UN! I did see Kelly Bensimone psoing for the big meeting. The Pot Pie is semi-decent. Not the best, but for $5, it's good enuf. Mason must strut his stuff this weekend, supposed to be gorgeous. I feel sure of it. Lunch with Mom happened afterall.

FF, most grocery stores down here have kosher sections. Maybe stores in NYC mix the kosher with the non-kosher. I have never been to a NYC grocery store.

Chocolate rugelach is ALWAYS better than raspberry :) Apricot is really good too. Too bad dinner didn't work out the way you wanted it to. I'm all about comfort food days though and everything looks amazing. I see some oatmeal in my future.
