Sunday, September 21st

Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Started the day off at LEDO Pizza with the most delicate Fries on the planet. The dusting of Old Bay kept them from floating off the plate...
Our server, who also happened to be vegan, let us know that the Viva La Vegan Pizza is going the way of LPQ's Tofu Scramble. Fortunately, she said if we want to bring in our own Soy Cheese, LEDOs is willing to put it on our Pizza and that they have done so for her numerous times. So perhaps I will try that some time, since LEDOs Pizza is the one thing I miss most since going vegan...
You know...
I predict an unpredictable food day tomorrow. Out of the norm. Bye for now.

Oooh yum, great food day! The fries look absolutely perfect. That is such a bummer about the pizza but at least they will let you bring in your own vegan cheese. What's going on with your favorites getting taken off the menu!?

There actually are beaches in Rochester, it is right by Lake Ontario so you can definitely still get your beach on. Downtown Rochester is definitely a city and you get the city feel there but the surrounding area is much more mellow than here. I have a lot of really great memories from Rochester, Buffalo and Niagara Falls from when I went to school in the area (many years ago).

What is going on in the world? Are they adding more carnivore items, in attempts to kill themselves and our fellow creatures faster?!

The pizza does look pretty fantastic, and I'm glad they'll let you make your own. Those fries do look pretty heavenly!

Yesterday's post was exciting! You DO go out into the world!
Old Bay on fries sounds good, but that's an unusual idea. Too bad about the vegan pizza. They should give you a cheaper rate on the pizza if they make you bring yr own cheese.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, that has always been the way. Anything great that i like is soon to be discontinued. A person might get paranoid. Moving to Rochester sounds so feasible. You can still be close enough to visit the family, but away from all the stress and pollution of LI.

Ingrid, it is pretty gross how many menus are 100% animal or animal-derived.

FF, you're not the only one who can go out in the world.
