Saturday, September 6th

I went in to LPQ this morning fully intending to get the Six-Vegetable Tart, but still got up the nerve to ask the server if there was any possibiilty of getting the Tofu Scramble. She said, yes(!) but there would be no Mushrooms. I figured it was a mistake and she would come back soon to tell me 'No'. She did come back, but only to say there was no Soy Cheese either. I was fine with that as well...
and when my Side of Avocado didn't show up, I requested it. What a successful breakfast!  An LPQ miracle!
Decided to keep the LPQ love going all day with the Lentil and Avocado Salad for dinner. Probably looked better before it rode around in a hot car for three hours...
the 'new' Blueberry Canelle for dessert...Not the best...
What could possibly happen tomorrow to top todays grub. Tune in to find out. Bye for now.

Yyaaaaaaaayyy!!! Not that scary asking for what you want, right?? And totally worth it today! Looks like a generous avocado side you got too.
Not sure i understamd why they call that a cannelle- which is a very specific shape, tall and slim with fluted edges, looks like a mini muffin. At least it actually had blueberries in it....

I saw mason today :)) he was as adorable and cuddly as ever but anxious to get back to his kiddie pool since it was so hot and sticky today.

Wowww, good news. Everything you could ask for, almost.
Looks like they even gave you extra avo? What do you think will happen next time you go back??
Since you are an expert on saving food in the fridge forever, as well as eating food after it's been in a hot car for 3 hrs, I left pasta and lentils out overnight. Do you think I should still eat it?

Yay for LPQ coming through today!! The tofu scramble does look great and what a nice surprise for you! And I agree with FF, it does look like you got extra avo too. See who needs avo toast for $10.95, you could have made it yourself with the extra avo and that gorgeous bread they serve. The salad looks great even after sweating it out in the car.

I understand the frustration of commenting on anything but a computer. I've tried to leave comments on my phone before and it has been really frustrating and annoying but I appreciate whatever comments you leave!

See, who needs* grammar DOES make a difference, ha!

I'm glad they could put together something resembling their scramble! I hope you're not the only vegan visiting their establishment, thereby causing them to add a permanent menu item!

I need to experiment with lentils, as this salad looks pretty spectacular.

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, i just happened to have a very eager server at LPQ yesterday made it easier to request 'extras'. Doubt that will happen again anytime soon. I have been wondering about Mason. Yesterday was not a good day for man or beastt. Today he can be more comfortable outside.

FF, I am all about eating the non-properly stored grub. Pasta and Lentils...My professional advice: eat it if you want to. If not interested in eating it, put it out for the Crows. (Assuming they have Crows in Queens).

Sarah, I have read your comment several times and dont see any grammatical errorrs?

Ingrid, we have to get on the FF band wagon and cook a pot of Beans for the week to use on Salads as necessary. You go first.
