Monday, September 1st

It has been a long time since I've hit up Tavern 64 for breakfast, just cuz their Tofu Scramble had gotten pretty blah. Tried their 'Vegan Burrito' this morning and it was quite pleasing. The Potatoes on the other hand, were majorly blah...
After brunch, I picked up a Salad to go from Sweetgreen for dinner. Baby Spinach, Tofu, Avocado, Chickpeas, Carrots and Red Onion with glutenous Slab Of Bread...
more Common Market Zucchini Brownie for dessert...
Hope others accomplished more this three day weekend than I did. Back to the usual tomorrow. Bye for now.

Glad you found a pleasing breakfast again. What was in the burrito? Tofu and vegetables?
The salad looks good, bread included. Can't go wrong really. Was there any dressing on it?
Sorry for saying yr brownie didn't look good.

That burrito does look pretty incredible but that is annoying about the potatoes. For some reason if I'm eating a savory brunch the potatoes are what I look forward to most. Soggy or undercooked potatoes are very disappointing.

At least the salad seems to have made up for it! It definitely looks fresh and tasty and the bread looks pretty great too.

Breakfast does look good! That's when you take the potatoes as leftovers and season the heck outta them at home. But that's a theory I've never tested.

Nice looking salad, and with all of that health - you have to throw in glutenous bread. But is glutenous > gluttonous? ;)

Well, gosh, I was going to spiralize the zucchini for raw pasta but maybe I should make a brownie...

Well its no raw crunola from LPQ (that sounded great!) but impressive looking wrap there. And of course your potatoes are way better than those pale cubes.

I'm a big fan of sweetgreens and other choose and toss salad places as well- sounds like a great combo there, and the bread is a must with salad.

We're back from the internet free big sur- gorgeous but a bit too isolated for me to handle longer than a few days in such close quarters with the family including my energetic nephew.....!

How do you mess up potatoes? That's terrible.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I forgive you for dissing my Brownie. Wasnt no Dunwell Donut. I get it.

Sarsh, how come you aren't blogging on your savory brunches? You're holding out on us!

Ingrid, if only I had thought to bring home the Potatoes. The Tofu Burritos were small, but satisfying enough that I didn't need to force myself to eat the Potatoes too. Live and learn.

Unknown, did you get eaten by mosquitos? Have you completely decimated your family's garden? Did you make the Gazpacho????

Abby, Bad Potatoes twice over the weekend! I was cursed!
