Sunday, March 9th

They have new-fangled plates at Harrimans for which I need a wide-angle lens. The 'Tofu Scramble' $12 Vine Ripened Tomatoes, Green Onions, Tempeh Bacon (Sausage?) and Roasted Potatoes was excellent as always. The Yellow Stuff is homemade Smoked Green Tomato Ketchup. The service was very good today (hope I don't jinx anything by writing that)...
An Oven Roasted Tofurky Sandwich for dinner....
Chocolate Cake with Ganache for dessert...
Laterrrr..

Too full from breakfast to have lunch? I concur with everyone from the other day: who would have thought camera-shy SV would be so stunning? Love what I could see of your lighting, as well.

Hmm. . .maybe with the new plating comes new management. One that promotes service! It looks as delicious as always. How was the green tomato ketchup?

I don't care for those new plates. Can you let them know?
The cake is still going strong, huh? Good for you.

I'm surprised they didn't up the price a good buck or two for the new fancy plates! (Which seem kind of weird for something like tofu scramble....) whatevs. Glad they were nice
I'm impressed the cake is still around, looks like a great chocolatey end to the day.

I really never do eat at chains aside from LPQ, but i wish i had liked the sofritos since there is a chipotle on my block... Best for my wallet i didn't though.

There are few things I love as much as compartmentalized plates!!

Normally I like my food all separate and tidy but I don't know how I feel about those plates. They seem so fussy for a restaurant. THe brunch looks delicious though and fingers crossed that the new trend in good service sticks around. The chocolate cake looks great, perfect end to a good food day.

Hey Now!!!!

Blessed Mama, too full for both lunch and dinner. But I ate dinner and dessert anyway. I tried to convince you I wasn't a scary witch, but you never believed me.

Ingrid, I was wondering if the $$ spent on the plates could have been better spent on employees. Sadly, the Green Tomato Ketchup was just so so.

FF, how could anyone like those plates?! Maybe if they were serving Fajitas, but Tofu Scramble ...fail...plus they weigh a ton. I should mail the rest of the cake to you. You could give it to your co-workers.

Unknown, Mr. SV said the exact same thing: why weren't the prices upped for the new plates?! Maybe next week we'll see it. You did your vegan duty: you showed demand for the new vegan option on the Chipotle menu.

Abby, you must own one of those bowls that is one half for cereal and one half for milk.

Sarah, still keeping your Hummus, Carrots and Dolmas all separated, eh?
