Harrimans was busy today, so we had to eat breakfast in the darkened Gold Cup Room, hence the worse than usual picture. Service, however, outstanding...
Celery for dinner, with a few dollops of Goddess Dressing...
If you made it through the day eating all vegan food, then that's blog worthy!!! I tried to be vegan and it ain't no cake walk. So, I applaud anybody that can do it!
That tofu scramble plating is just soooooo awkward! Glad the staff has had an attitude adjustment over there. Your celery meals are so funny! I'm relieved to see some condiments involved today. Is that the pb and co cinnamon raisin? Their cafe in soho is fun-although too many small children for to visit with much frequency..... Creative uses for pb tho. http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/peanut-butter-co/menu
Mason says hi! We had a sidewalk snugglefest and he made sure my black pants had a sufficient coating of doggie fur to go :) Ttrockwood
Woah, I actually thought that first photo was an airplane meal. All compartmentalised with a plastic tub on the side. I thought you were going on holiday.
Tonya, being vegan these days is so easy compared to just a few years ago. It's being 100% raw that I have never been able to achieve even a single day of.
Unknown, The plates weigh a ton and the food is all so far apart. Hopefully, they'll see the light and get rid of them soon. I know a little vegan blogger who used to work at PB & Co. She goes by the curious moniker 'Food Feud' and she ran amok in the back of PB & Co. She didn't wreak too much havoc since the place is still in business. Coincidentally, Mr. SV & I poked around in the restaurant after we ate at Sacred Chow a few years ago, but were too full to eat more. I wonder how many other stalkers Mason has? He probably already has a following on Facebook and Twitter.
FF, the Gold Cup Room certainly had the top notch service. Carrot Sticks?! I dunno about those. You tryin to kill me hea with some Carrot Sticks?
Hannah, these plates on a plane would be amusing. Hanging over the ends of the tray tables and into your seat mates space. Probably would cause a lot of air rage. Instead of 'Snakes on a Plane' it's 'Plates on a Plane'.
A good meal and good service hopefully make up for being stuck in a dark room. The food looks good, still not digging the plate though. I want some of that peanut butter now! So good!
