Saturday, March 8th

This article reminded me I still needed to try the Tofu Sofritas at Chipotle....
Our prices are a little lower down here than in NYC, but I thought the new addition to my Burrito Bowl was well worth the extra money and quite tasty. It was rough having Mexican food as my first meal of the day, however, I will look forward to getting the Sofritas again...
Mr. SVegetarian made Spaghetti with LEDO Sauce and TJ's Meatless Meatballs (unavailable in Denver! Whodathunk it?!) for dinner...
The other half of my Vegan Treats Donut for dessert....
Buttercup enjoyed the spring weather this afternoon....
while the Chickens enjoyed the remains of my lunch from yesterday...
Off I go.

I see how it is. Flaunt your meatless meatballs in my face! ;) I've tried sofritas, and thought it was okay. But I should probably give it another chance.

Between yesterday's picture of you (I only recently commented on that post - I'm a little late!), beautiful Buttercup (stretch it out, girl!), and the Chickens (I've missed them!) - you have raised the bar!

I stopped in and tasted the sofritos tofu, but my wimpy self thinks its too hot!! UGH.
It is a scam it costs that much but without the guac.....
Yay for the Mr and his meatlessball meal, that always looks so good.

Love the lounging kitty in the sunshine!

Still so glad you posted the pomelo selfie, i'll have to remember a backpack next time i bike to chinatown and get my own....

Take that, clever con. It's a delicious con, at least.

You certainly have been spoiling us with pics this weekend. First we get to finally see you and then we get adorable critter pics. Love it.

I'm curious about the tofu but so not interested in the mouthful of cilantro that will likely accompany it. And you are right, those prices are pretty good! That's what we pay for a regular vegetarian burrito bowl up here.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, we may not have Native Foods or Beet Box, but we do have TJ's Meatless Meatballs! Today's post resets the bar back to its regular level.

Unknown, the Sofritas were a little spicy, but the Rice, Beans, Guac & Lettuce help cool it off. That being said, if I lived in NYC, I would never waste a meal at any franchise (other than LPQ). The taste of that Pomelo is haunting me, but peeling it was a bit of an ordeal.

Hannah, yeah, that was a pretty complicated article about the cost of the Guac vs/in addition to the Tofu. A real thinker.

Sarah, I'm guessing you could leave off the Salsa/Pico De Gallo on the Burrito Bowl? Sometimes I think of asking them to leave out the Rice just cuz they give so much.
