 Le Pain Quotidien this morning...
A piece of LPQ Whole Wheat with Spiced Pear Preserves for lunch...
For dinner, I decided to see if I still got a headache and/or sick from eating too much Beyond Meat Chicken...
Apparently I've built up a tolerance, although I didn't exactly feel great after eating it. Might have actually been legitimately past date...
This Candy Bar got the taste out of my mouth....
Bye for now.

Do you shove the bread in yr bag under the table, or do you ask for a to-go container? And were the preserves theirs or yrs? It sounds delicious. Toasted? Earth Balance?? I have so many questions about the bread....

Yum, LPQ for breakfast and lunch! Spiced Pear Preserves sounds amazing.

Thursday night I purchased a burrito bowl from Chipotle, and brought the other half home for Friday's lunch. Apparently, I was so tired that I left the container in my bag - thus out of the fridge - overnight. I seriously contemplated taking it to work anyway, but decided not to risk the stomach cramps. ;)

LPQ gets some amazing avocados at your location! The toast lunch sounds delicious, especially that jam.

I'm sure your dinner was fine re:expiration date since that's the sell-by, not the you'll get sick from eating now day. Sounds like beyond meat just doesn't like your digestive system.
That sounds like a stressful lunch the other day! If you ever go to sweet greens in DC they have some great salads and make you own too, we got a location that i love that is also always busy but not as chaotic as some.

I'm with you on the Beyond Meat thing. I definitely think a little goes a long way, and some of the Blessed gang can't tolerate it at all.

As always, I'm incredibly envious of your LPQ breakfast and lunch. Their scrambles always look incredible and you know I'm a fan of crusty bread. Spiced pear preserves sound delicious too! Where is that from?

I still have never tried Beyond Meat and don't really have a desire to. I haven't heard amazing things about it I guess. I would definitely love to try that chocolate though, yum!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I 'shove' the bread, the preserves were heisted from Harrimans, all was consumed untoasted sans EB. I know you've had their sweets, but have you not eaten any LPQ bread?

Ingrid, you know if it were me, I'd have thought it safe to eat that Burrito Bowl, but stomach cramps/flatulence in front of a bunch of teens doesn't sound fun.

Unknown, I've done Sweetgreens down here about four or five times and it is a much more pleasant experience than Chopt. I'll probably take my mother there sometime in the future.

Blessed Mama, sounds like the Blessed Gang will just have to make do with your myriad Seitan creations.

Sarah, you have no LPQ on 'the island', so you are excused for now from not going to one (PF Changs, you have no excuse). The Spiced Pear Jam was a tiny jar I stole from Harrimans about six months ago. The Beyond Meat does taste good, it's just that it doesn't make me feel good, if that makes any sense. Your results may vary.

Every time you post so much LPQ I wonder why I never go there.

Abby, apparently you had service issues at LPQ that prevented you from enjoying your meal. So far, that hasn't happened to me.
